What are the best daily tournaments in Vegas? What are the best daily tournaments in Vegas?

I am planning to arrive in Vegas late May to get into tournament shapes. Are there any lucrative daily poker tournaments in Vegas that I could grind to build up a bankroll for the smaller WSOP buy-ins?

I heard that there was a 2PM Rio Daily which pays $25K to first. Is that a guaranteed tournament?

I've been here about a month. and from what i've experienced the daily tournaments don't have high guarantees that pay 25k for 1st. using poker atlas has been simple and accurate.

the venetian has the highest daily guarantees on most days. look carefully at details because some days it's a rebuy. others it's a reentry. usually the rebuy has higher guarantees. but i don't think it plays well and i've been avoiding rebuy events.

on average the daily events are between $60-$175. and guarantees in range of $500-$3.5k. expect the players to cover guarantee in most cases. so at some places you're competing against 75-100 runners. mostly 50+ year old regs.

by late may i'm sure casinos will be running events catered to the wsop crowd. and hosting their own series with better than average guarantees.

I've tried searching a number of times over the years with topics that should have been covered ad nauseam, with limited success. Perhaps I'm not doing my searches in an effective manner. So I've no doubt been guilty of asking questions that have been answered.

In a related story, if one reads a post by a newbie who could have used the search function, link to the relevant thread(s), or move on, resisting the desire to make trolly posts. There's no rule that requires you to respond.

And for OP's specific question, the topic isn't static and the answer probably changes regularly. So previous threads may be outdated.

As for me, I'm interested in the topic and am glad you asked.

Literally clicked on advanced search and typed in "daily tournaments" to find at least the following 3 threads:

Best daily tournaments in Vegas?

Las Vegas Daily Tournaments With Best Structure

? Best daily poker tournaments in vegas ?

The searchthedamnforums.gif was probably more trollish than necessary, but this question is as old and popular as the "where is the softest $1/2 tables in Vegas" threads. Aria seems to be the first reply followed by some variation of check poker atlas, or the bellagio $150 or something at the Venetian or Wynn. It seems like there is always some series going on in Vegas as well so there is no lack of options.

It certainly wasn't my intention to offend anyone, I just haven't posted that gif for a minute, and this thread seemed as good as any for it.

Thanks for linking the threads! They seem a little bit outdated though, but thanks for your suggestions.

I would love to hear more from the locals if possible

I have the same question, but for limit games. City wide and particularly Orleans, They are small but cant be picky when it comes to limit poker I guess.

I don't know of any strictly limit hold 'em tournaments. Sam's Town 10am is mixed limit (fixed limit for first few levels, then no limit). Otherwise you're going to need to find some kind of fixed limit Omaha or Stud tournament.

Thanks for your reply, I did mean any fixed limit variation not just holdem.

Aria and Venetian have the best daily tournaments.
When the WSOP starts the Rio has 3 daily deep stack tournaments each day

Yeah I heard that daily deep stack at Rio has great value. I'm probably going to grind those the most in between events

The Friday night tournament at the Orleans is a very good one.

Idk if I've ever seen one that high. Usually in the 40's as the highest.

If you go to WSOPs main page, go to WSOP 2016 schedule they have a link to their daily tournaments they ran last year from the start of the daily Deepstacks to the end. You can check out each tournament and each day and guesstimate what the payouts should look like.

Thanks! I didn't know that this exists. Here is the link for those who are interested: http://www.wsop.com/news/2016/Jul/77...K-RESULTS.html

If you don't want to deal with PDFs, you can go to the Hendon Mob website.
