Probably gonna regret this next time I want some free showtickets and there's none available cause they're all scooped up, but since I love this forum and 99.99% of the people that post in it here it is.

The site is owned by Gerry McCambridge AKA The Mentalist.

They have comp tickets to a bunch of lower tier shows and discounts for other shows. They email you every morning with their list of available Tixs, you order them (FREE!!!),print out the order form and bring it to the box office to get your tickets.

There is absolutely no charge to join up but they do ask that you buy a drink or something at the show to help support them. Not an out of line request when they give you free or BOGO tickets from them.

Cheapo Vegas used to be great, but its a lot less useful now since the front page is geared towards referring you to book hotels thru them.

The strip map and the summaries of each hotel from here http://www.cheapovegas.com/vegas_map.php?map=strip are still useful.

Yikes, I just looked at the Cheapo Vegas site for the first time in a long while. It's now an ugly and pushy used car salesman. Yuck. Used to love the reviews but now it's too painful to get to them.

When you sign up though here is what they say. "You are a Las Vegas resident who has a legal Nevada ID or a Military ID (no exceptions). If you do not have either of the two, the box office attendant will not release the comp tickets to you. A utility bill is not considered a form of a legal ID;" So this website is great if you are a Las Vegas resident or from Nevada or have military ID.
