10 an hour is solid, thanks for the idea, tropicana has that from 11am-7pm, but not many games running. there are still a ton of places I would like to check out, pretty much doing stuff as we feel like it.

maybe id been in a better mood had i ate first, but ive always been of the opinion ballys has no cheap good eats that i like. and im too lazy to normally make the long walk to the paris diamond lounge. finally discovered a place i never knew about, a bar by the back escalators which i never go to since im not really comfortable in a bar since i dont drink. i was browsing menus posted outside and i seen mashed potatoes for $3.99 so i went in and ordered 2 of them to go with comp dollars which im almost out of. wish someone had told me this long ago, but i doubt anyone else likes mashed potatoes so they probably wouldnt known this either. so glad to know this now for the future, and now all u guys also will know.

id been having a very bad day. id left ballys earlier today down $589, and except for a bad beat with aa by one asian guy, almost all of my loss was due to these 2 guys id invited to come play with me. i better never invite someone over again who knows about 2+2, im sure they are excellent players as much as they won, even though the one kid totally misread me that one time. the rest of the time however he must of read people pretty well. i wasnt too happy when i left the first time because id thought the 2 guys seemed kind of nice, but the one kid on the final hand, he asked me if i wanted him to call when he had 46 of hearts against my AJ and i told him nicely id rather he not so i could leave the game without losing ALL of the money i was in for. he called anyway, and won, and that pissed me off because i thought why couldnt he honor one nice polite request? (the call was of my allin preflop, not with any board out yet).

so when i get to the table, i decide to sit and buyin for $300. (the exact of money i had on me in cash that wasnt locked up in the cage at the rio or in my bank). the dealer asks me if i want to post, and i always hate that question because it implies i might actually be dumb enough to be out an additional $3 when i dont have to. they know i NEVER ever do this no matter what for my entire life. i guess that, and not having ate, got to me, and i told the dealer that i wasnt even going to answer a question that dumb and had me ever seen me post? evidently the answer offended the dealer, who called for the floor, and the floor told me to not give the dealer a hard time, and id felt like it was him giving me a hard time. he didnt have to call for the floor, all he had to do was let it go when he seen i was having a bad day and obv didnt want to post. all knowledgeable players will say no when asked that, its only people who are greenhorns and or loaded with money who say yes and post.

i dont know why it offended the kid, he knew how badly i needed money, how stressed i was over losing so much of my roll earlier in 1 day, and that i wasnt feeling too happy. maybe some day if $3 ever means that much to him he will understand. ive gone too far in the last year or 2 and made too much progress away from homelessness and poverty to lose it all back any more than i have and im terribly scared to death my rolls eventually going to go to nothing. and yet im not even playing machines anymore. even after todays awful loss, have not touched a one.

anyway ill shut up now, just wanted everyone here to understand why i was upset and realize that for some people, especially those out on the street grinding low stakes, the money really does matter. and i cannot handle it if someone thinks i might actually be so ignorant and so dumb about poker to post when its not neccessary. im sure the kids also got mad and regretted it before.

but he didnt have to be outright rude by refusing my offer to take him to the diamond lounge and say "ur not following me anywhere when i leave". following him? i was asking him to follow me. i simply thought if i sat and ate with them and talked about the hands i played and what all they seen that they would suggest i do to help avoid tilt and reduce variance, that it would help me relax and start recovering the loss. i figured they were both pretty skilled players to win such a huge amount at $1-2 at ballys, it was pretty amazing and highly irregular what they won.

i am curious though, he said he stacked his friend but his friend had a far bigger stack than him?

FYI...

TI is only 10/hr if you play 60 hours in a week. If you play less than 10 hours in a week there is no bonus. At 10 hours it's $5/hr and goes up the more you play. It's paid in increments of 10 hours so there is no difference between 10 hours and 19 hours. Also, you can't collect the bonus until Sunday

Lol Ty good to know, were at Hollywood now, games are good, lol this guy at my table is playing blind right noe firing two streets, I obv value towned myself, we both flopped pairs and he two outered me and I went for thin value on the river, he has like 700 and is going nuts

Me value towning myself was a separate hand, on the blind hand he moved his hand aside and the other fish didn't even realize he never looked while he made it obv he was playing blind, the other fish even hit a boat on the river and just check called the river
