Vegas #1

Heading to vegas this month for the first time.

Any advice on juiciest games for 1/2 - 2/5 game? Also. Things to see.

And if anyone out there or is going there is down - I'm hoping to meet some poker players so my stay isn't a lonesome one.

All the games are solid, hit up Reno or Laughlin.

Tourist attractions are all closed, it's the dead season.

And besides, they only spread limit games in the even-numbered months.

Re: Vegas #1

For the juiciest games, forget all those glitzy strip resorts with all their hoo-dads. Look for the sign that says "Poker Battle" off the Interstate. That's what you want. If it seems deserted, just push your way inside... the juiciest games are in the back, just keep walking. But be ready for battle.

These guys are all morons who are being mean to you . All the games at those levels are pretty similar. So it won't make all that much difference where you play .

Seriously just bc your a hot shot local doesn't mean you have to be a dick to every guy who asks a dumb question. Yeah it's been asked a million times before but just ignore it or tell him to search for the answer

Palms, late night 2/5NL

The action in this game when the nightclubs shut down for the evening is as close to unbelievable as you will ever see. Players come in on what I like to call "hook up tilt" feverish young males enter the poker room fueled by liquid courage, and after succumbing to the fact that they have drawn dead in the nightclub, decide that the last hope they have to salvage anything of the evening is to win a truck load of cash in the no-limit game. Unfortunately the liquid courage usually wears off just as their bankrolls do. A sobering experience for anyone, this game chews 'em up and spits 'em out at an alarming rate. - Rob Huxley

I can def vouch for this.
