they already "lauched" once, so there's no downtime for Uber. once the law takes effect they'll be open.

After Governor signs it they will still have to apply to the regulatory body. July 1st is what I've seen as a projected date to start up again.

LA Times reported that July 1 date as well. Believe that date is written into the legislation.

And the governor is expected to sign it.

looks like a launch on Monday

hopefully they'll have both pick-up & drop-off capabilities at the airport

edit: apparently they won't be able to pick up from the airport until October, lolNevada. really wanted to test this out on Tuesday when I fly back.

Where do you see a Monday launch date? I just googled and didn't find anything that made it look like its coming within the next few weeks.

The way I read the articles, Uber/Lyft need to get business licenses from Clark County first, which will take some time.

In Seattle drivers have to pay for a business license. Out of pocket LDO. Wasn't terrible though, $55 if you expect to earn under $20k from it in a given year.
