Excellent continuing work. And for what it's worth, Oasis was semi-big here, with "Wonderwall" definitely being in the Top 10 Billboard and MTV, iirc.

The angry barman may have been dismayed at no tip.
You through food at the wall? And left it for someone else to clean up?
No amount of British accent is going to make that charming.

I had, and still have, no idea about who we should or shouldn't be tipping. The whole tipping culture in America is retarded anyway. I see absolutely no reason to tip a damn barman, especially one in his miserable state. Also, I unknowingly tipped a bargirl in Gallery and didn't even receive a thankyou, so f that.
Yeah not proud of the Mcd's episode, but it happened and this TR details what happened. It was never intended to be "charming", I obviously realise it was idiotic.

You need to start listening to better music imo lol, backstreet boys? N sync, O town lol, come on now...
Pretty sweet trip report though nonetheless. You guys are some pretty decent looking dudes (not in a gay way) though and shouldve been crushing vegas pussy, hopefully we'll get around to some female interaction at some point during the trip lol.

That isn't what I regularly listen to! Just classic, novelty karaoke tunes.

Excellent TR.
Just one thing though. Please tell me you included the word "fap" so the predominantly American audience understand it. You don't use that word in everyday life right?

Totally not intending to sidetrack/derail here... but pretty much anyone in a restaurant establishment should be tipped. If you want preferential seating you might tip the hostess/maitre'D as well. 15% is baseline, 20% is pretty much expected though. I know in Britain you don't tip bartenders but it is an absolute requirement in a bar setting here in the States. In the States people who work in restaurants and bars by and large only earn minimum wage and work part time, say 4 or 5 days a week at maybe 20-30 hoursa a week. No paid time off, no health benefits, nothing. After tax eats away at whatever remains of their paycheck, tips alone virtually make up their entire wage. Now in some clubs and bars bartenders can make obscene amounts of money, but those are typically pricey and high end nightclubs where they really do work their assess off to earn it.
Bottom line- take care of your bartender and he'll take care of you. Which I guess is just like everywhere in Vegas.
Excellent trip review, especially given your English verbiage. But two words that slightly tilt me that you use a lot are 'sundry' and 'non-descript'. But that's just nitpicking. Good on you, lad!

Yeah spot on. I was going to put 'wank' but I wasn't sure if American's used that in an everyday sense/at all.

I've been thinking about uploading it, but I'm not sure how to take it off of the DVD. I'll have a play around though.
EDIT: that was easy! Skydive footage here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4_GAwAitydc As you can see, everyone else on the plan is somewhat more up for it than I am.
Yup pic fail on the mess but like I say, I felt like an idiot afterwards and bad for the cleaner so taking a picture would seem like I was proud of it or something.

Cheers, that's all fair enough and we did tip (often exceptionally well) in the restaurants and when it was obvious that we should have done, but tipping bar staff just seemed bizarre to me, especially when he was so miserable before he even served me. I understand what you're saying though.
On a sidenote, should probably learn how to multiquote in one post.
Thanks again for all the nice comments. Will get the next instalment up within the next couple of days.
