Day Nine - Friday November 21st

Wasn't able to fade a two outer so my main event was short and sweet. So much luck factor in these things.

Tried to recoup buy-in in the 5/10/20 PLO at Aria. Wasn't a great game but there were a couple of soft spots. Unfortunately one of them went on a huge heater, playing and winning almost every hand for an hour and turned $1,500 into $15,000. When he left and the other fish left who lost about $10k I called it a night -$2,000 after 5 hours.

Probably won't play much the last two days. Got another ticket for Rod Stewart on Saturday and would rather watch NFL than play the last tourney at PH on Sunday.

And we think he's sexy.

Yeah, I have seen some crazy money exchange hands on the 5/10/20 game....I'm more in tune with playing the 1/3 PLO game and occasional 2/5PLO

Day Ten - Saturday November 22nd

Did a little shopping at Fashion Show Mall in the afternoon before heading to Caesars for dinner and the show.

Opted for Old Homestead but was disappointed with the steak. Went for the 12oz Filet medium rare and despite it being a nice medium rare red in the middle it tasted really dry. Where did all the juices go?



The Expresso Martini rescued things though. Highly recommend.



Then into the Rod Stewart show





The show was okay, nothing special. I've seen all the headliners now at Caesars and have to say Celine is the best of them.

The hail mary parlay is on again for tomorrow. A more modest 6 teams this week. I like all chalk so probably got zero chance.

Would love to see pictures of some of the stacks (if possibru) in those 5/10/20 PLO game. Must be a sick, sick game

Day Eleven - Sunday November 23rd

Not much to report. Spent my last day watching NFL and eating Five50 pizza. Looked like was going to have a good sweat on the parlay but Packers blew the cover late. Did okay on straight bets though.

So final numbers look like this:

Cash games: 25 hours played. Net +$3,000

Not a bad trip overall. Felt the cold a bit. Prefer it in the summer when I can swim and play golf. PH put on a good tournament, well run with good dealers. The only negative was the long lines for registration, need more staff in that area. Found a couple of juicy PLO games but slim pickings overall. Obviously nothing beats the games during WSOP.
