Good veggie options in Las Vegas? Good veggie options in Las Vegas?

I'm going to be in LV next week, and the gf and I are gonna go watch Mystere and then hopefully get a nice meal afterwards. My gf isn't a vegetarian, but she definitely prefers good veggies to good meat, and I was hoping some of you vegetarians here could point me in the right direction in terms of some tasty veggie-oriented food? Thanks!

Wynn used to be vegan so all the Wynn restaurants have good veggie / vegan options

Yo,

I've been vegetarian for ~9 years and although it seems on the surface as though Vegas could be a challenging place to eat vegetarian, that's absolutely not the case.

As Starberry mentioned, every place at Wynn/Encore has a separate vegetarian and vegan menu, yes even the SW Steakhouse. Email their dining contact on the website and ask for the most recent menus, they'll get back to you with a giant .pdf of all the current menus on the property. I'll be in town next week and I just got the most recent version a few nights ago.

Nearly every mid-tier place will have plenty of vegetarian options, I recommend scouting out the menus online on the casino hotel websites. Don't make assumptions and overlook things, even places you might skip over such as BLT Burger or Holsteins have great vegetarian items.

Every top-tier restaurant will be happy to make an off-menu vegetarian option. I try to be the most low-maintenance diner in general, it's just my personality, so I didn't know this for the longest time. I was at Milos and I asked the waiter what vegetarian option (of several on the menu) he would recommend. He got all excited and said "BRB bro" and came back after talking with the chef who wanted to make a from-scratch off-menu risotto on the fly. I get the impression after this happening at multiple spots that the chefs love doing this, and I bet it would be a good break from cooking the normal items day after day. It was awesome btw.

That should be a good start, good luck.

I'm excited to try Mozen once or twice next week for different meals, I never realized it was there before a few weeks ago.

I can't comment on vegan anything, there's a huge difference between being vegan and being vegetarian. I would imagine vegan life would just be bad overall, even at Wynn.

Speaking of Indian, there is a GREAT Indian buffet (ie. that where my friends who were born in India took me) called Tamba.

It's in that mall across the street from Aria

TY Gobbo!

To date, "best injun in Vegas" has not been a high accolade. Most offerings have been insipid, bland, homogeneous offerings devoid of all heat, taste and character.

This is more like it...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ImBrrZXjnho

The inferno menu @ Mint looks more like it Unfortunately it will have to wait until June, but will definitely check it out.

If you like Thai food, try Komol. It's in the same shopping plaza as Lotus of Siam, just a little further down. They're just as well-known and have a ****ton of awards, and they specialize in vegan/veggie options.

If you're all for spicy food, the inferno curry there won most spicy food in Vegas by ELV. But all the food there is incredible.

You're going to be close to Wynn after the show, so you could pick any spot there that sounds appealing to you and know they'll have a variety of options for her. IMO you can't really go wrong at Wynn.

There are top-end places with vegetarian prix-fixe menus at Bellagio and MGM, and I think Aria?

Cosmopolitan has some killer restaurants like Milos and Jaleo.

I'd hate to recommend just one place.
