I haven't played this weekend at all due to work except for a couple hours a Aria on Thursday night. Today is wide open for me. Where would you play?

1. Venetian- lots of DSE tourney players sure to be hanging around probably some good live action.

2. Aria/MGM - football Sunday and the TV positioning is really good for people who like to watch TV instead of watching me take their chips.

3. Bellagio- meh. Don't much like it there ever.

4. Orleans - football promo going on, random cash handed out for every score in a football game and splash pots with the same. Made 600$ last Sunday during this football madness, but the BBJ hit last week and the room has chilled out big time.

all those above are going off right now... even the Orleans.

I'm leaning towards the Orleans frankly, but I've been there a lot lately and getting less and less action from the regs. That game is pretty sweet, it plays more like a 2/5 lots of days with the 500$ max buy in.

Great analysis, thank you! I'm looking to get back into cash this week (been doing tourneys). I completely agree with you on the Bellagio (I don't like it either) and I've never tried the Orleans. Might be time to give them some action.

You might want to look at the Red Rock's 2/5 with a mandatory $10 straddle on the button. On the right nights it is very good.

Played the Orleans game. Definitely a good move. Took a nasty beat after this pic but cashed +500$ before the game got all nitty and reg infested.

you must have been on the 1st table... I was playing on table 19 and I was only one with a 500+ stack, good game, but all shorties. Had a lady that thought if the board paired kickers didnt matter.

nitty is the chance you take when going to the O... but the game can be decent.

the Red Rock game is great, but they seem to play an overly trappy style vs thin value... so take that with a grain of salt.

Mandalay Bay offers the same game at the 1/3 level. It goes off most weekend nights. I dont like the mandatory straddle - you can find people straddling all over town, don't need to be mandatory.
