One that comes to mind is aria 2/5 other day I got 5b jammed on pre by 89ss and my aces got owned, stupid flips

Same day I also lost KK to T7o all in pre for like 30something Bb lol

That is why I keep track of all my AA hands. If I have won 4 I know the next time I get them is a loser so I just fold pre.

When villain has them is trickier but I can almost always put them on AA so I just call every fifth time.

I feel I should have paid some homage to these LVL thread owners while I was there. Wonder if I sat with any of you while there playing 2/5 at Aria over the last weekend in March. I sat with the Moreno kid, had a decent cash in WSOP ME a few years back and whose wife, Arnett is a persona for TV poker (and a player herself).

2/5 Wynn I opened AKo EP to 15, euro who came into game w/$10 chips (plays higher and knows regs) 3bs me in CO to 45, I felt like he was really full of **** b/c of game flow etc, I 4b to 135 he thought and called (he took his time with every decision in this hand), KJ8dd flop I cbet 90/280, after thinking a couple min he raises to 200, I think for a bit and decide on a call, Jd turn I check, he jams and I had about 350ish left so obv I just about snap, river T he flips 25dd

I had a horrible session lol

Based off another hand I saw from him I'm pretty sure he calls off if I jam flop, so I felt like I was just keeping the world in his range by flatting

Been a bad week in general so def not feeling gambling for any meaningful amount of cash, but could be down for other ****

although the wynn sesh last night was **** for me, i ate and went to red rock and played in a solid game till it got 3 handed, i somehow talked the fish into agreeing to play plo (and the other reg who was playing really straightforward and a little too weak), the reg agreed, fish wanted to make it 5/10, im def not rolled for but it was too good of a spot, i ended up dominating the table (won like 75% of total pots played) for a good 40ish minutes till the fish had enough and wanting to switch back to hold em, where i won another decent sized pot by making a river call with 4th pair

IIRC fish B straddled 20, reg folds sb i raise to 60 in bb A4o, he calls 985dxx flop i check he checks, 3d turn i bet 85 he calls, river 4 i check he bets 200 i call and am good

oya one of the first hands i played at the wynn game i opened QQ for 15 got 3 callers cbet a J75cxx board for 40 got two callers, Kc turn being 2nd to act i bet 120, bb calls me, river 4c he checks and i think for a bit check back he flips J8cc

red rock wins didnt get me even for the wynn losses, but "it's all about the hourly"

health wise i've been back to my daily push ups (usually do a few sets of 30 good form ones and some extras) and most days ill do ab ripper x, till i get used to it then i'll switch to harder/more strenuous workouts

i feel like i haven't been doing it for long at all but already seeing decent results/shaping

as far as my game goes, i feel like i've been B gaming, although last night i felt like i played really well (cept for the AK hand i posted that was too fancy, should've just gotten it in on flop), there was one other spot where i got coolered for a big pot, but i don't feel like i misplayed the hand

the red rock session (even when it was full ring) boosted my confidence as nearly every hand i played my opponents made mistakes, so hopefully i can keep that sort of thing up
