I have found some help regarding this using the search feature, but thought I would ask some more opinions.

In short I am going to be looking for a place to watch the Capitals Playoff games when I move out to Vegas at the start of May (assuming they don't lose in the first round) and thought it would be great to watch it with other Washington d.c. area ports fans...also would like to know a place where I can watch football with other Skins fans, when the new season rolls around.

Finally, I was hoping that maybe this thread can get others talking about other well known sports/teams bars in Vegas.

Edit: Has anyone been to Jackson's Bar on West Flamingo...read this is a washington redskins bar, but when we drove by it during my last trip out there a few weeks ago there didn't really seem like they were promoting themselves as a redskins bar...but then again I might not either, lol

Been to Jacksons a few times, Meh. Not really worth visiting again unless you go there for a drink after eating some good Italian food next door at Noras

Is it worth going to watch the redskins or capitals in the playoffs, or would it just feel grimey? I'm going to be at the Rio during the WSOP, and to hope over there and watch the game with some fans would be cool, but if it's shady/depressing, or whatever I won't even bother. However, I don't want to just watch the games in a sportsbook or something, I really don't want to bet on the game, and I'm actually going to be rooting pretty hard for the capitals, lol.

I went to watch a Kentucky basketball game at the Buffalo Wild Wings that claims its the UK bar and there was a great atmosphere and a ton of people from Kentucky yelling "foul" every time they took a shot and then cursing the refs for calling a foul if it was a non shooting foul where the guy would have likely scored if not for the foul.

Reminded me of watching a game in Kentucky and there were chants and whatever.

I'd say give it a go, it could be fun. I ran into someone who remembered me from 10 years earlier when friends and I went to his school on a road trip for an away college football game. Small world

The bar is kinda dark and grimy. If youre going to watch the Redskins they will probably have some other fans there, the Capitals it will probably be dead. I've been there a few times to drink and play some VP, and it has never been busy. A lot of bars out here designate themselves a certain teams bar for football, but i've never heard a bar associate themselves as the home of <insert NHL team name here>.

They do have a stripper pole there, but I have never seen anyone on it. It's not that far from the Rio by car so I would say go check it out and let us know if it was worth it.

There are other Redskins bars I'm sure that are nicer. There's some website that lists teams and bars in vegas, but I don't know what it is off hand. Look into it.
