Speeding Tickets in Vegas

I was trying to google the prices for getting busted speeding, but I couldn`t find anything. I was wondering how much I am going to roughly be paying if I am busted going 10mph? 20mph?

I've noticed not many people speed in the states but heard your fines arent that large...

I paid $180 for being 7mph over.

But I went to ticketbusters ? Pink building ont he corner of Rainbow/Flamingo ?

I have been told that there is another company downtown near the courthouse that would have charged $60.

Re: Speeding Tickets in Vegas

Tcarnage- it depends on where u get the ticket. Most of the time u get tickets fro Metro cops they give u a ticket for Justice court(those are easy) i have fixed over 500 and made them all illegal parking tickets...sometimes u get a ticket for Municiple court and fines are slightly higher than Justice- the worst tho is the City of Henderson- fines are high but i can still make em into parking tickets....hope this helps. Email any other questions to me at LVJUSTICE74@yahoo

IME most Nevada cops have radar at the very least. If your plan is to go speeding around a lot and just pay fines, you might not have such a fun vacation. When they see your license is from out of state or out of country, they may haul you straight to court and/or jail.

Re: Speeding Tickets in Vegas

Don't use the ticket terminators on rainbow and flamingo ( the pink building place). The guy that runs it, Tom Conners I think his name is, is a douchebag. My ex had some tixs, non speeding, no insurance papers with her, some other minor bull**** ones and he tried to rape us on the price I got him to knock the price down A LOT, she paid him he said no problem. A few months later we get a notice in the mail that they had gone to warrants. I called him up and he tried to talk his way out of it to me. I told him if he didn't get it taken care of by the end of the day that I would be down there in the morning. He got them taken care of after that but they should have never gone to warrants.

Another friend of mine went in there with 2 tixs, 1 for speeding, they wanted almost $500! My friend told the guy to go **** his mother and he used a ticket lawyer downtown and it cost him $75 to get them to drop them down to parking tickets.

This changing a speeding ticket into a parking ticket is some amazing stuff, kinda like magic. My last speeding ticket in CA was $1250. Looking forward to having someone on retainer.

Your run of the mill speeding ticket won't be anywhere near that much. I'm guessing Aggro lives up to his name when behind the wheel.

But as you're coming from out of the country I would definitely heed the advice to take it easy, who knows what the cops will do to you when you whip out a non-American drivers license.

I've been driving like an a'hole in Vegas for 14 years now though and have only gotten one ticket, and that was one of those "on the way out of town" gifts they like to give on the 15. It was probably 10 years ago, memory serves it was around $200 (not counting traffic school).

Re: Speeding Tickets in Vegas

Tickets in Vegas are a huge scam,,,,,,,first they assrape you on the ticket then you have to pay a lawyer another $75 to get it pled down to a parking ticket so you wont get points OR you can go to court and get traffic school.

Nuff said.

Since the pink building is a rip off does anyone have a name of a similar place?

http://www.cpklaw.com/traffic-tickets has been recommended on AVP. They used to be free, now they charge $50. I've never had to use them, so I cannot personally vouch for 'em.

I've used No-Citations.Com

Pretty much the same deal as any of the other ones. They knock your ticket down to a parking ticket and that's the end of it.

Is all of this just for city cop tickets, or do they work for Highway Patrol tickets too?
