Short-term apartment rentals near the strip? Short-term apartment rentals near the strip?

Hi all, a friend and I are currently in Vegas and we're looking for a one-month apartment/condo rental near The Strip ASAP. Budget is $1000 max for a furnished 1 bedroom type place. Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations?

Furnished is preferred, but at this point, we'll consider a non-furnished place for cheaper (~$750).

We're currently staying at a hotel until Tuesday, so we are a bit time constrained right now. If we can't find a place by then, we'll have to head back lol. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

There are several short-term apartments near the strip. Siegel Suites, Emerald Suites, can't remember what others...the problem is, none of them are really suites; they all have poor reputations and bad reviews online.

1k isn't getting you much near the strip unless you're a few blocks off to the east side or maybe a few streets west in the Spring Valley area. I would check out hotpads.com

theres a decent place across mandalay bay.

These are the 2 options I know of.

Studio w/ no kitchen: $575/month + 1 time move in fee of $300 (non-refundable). Comes with microwave and mini fridge.

Studio w/ kitchen: $650/month + 1 time move in fee of $300 (non-refundable). Comes with full kitchen.

They all come furnished. Has an old TV with cable. Free wifi but I heard its slow if you're gunna watch youtube vids. All utilities are included in the rent.

There's no contract. It's month to month. You can leave whenever you want.

There's a bunch of grandpas living there and a lot of casino workers from mandalay. Couple bellagio and aria dealers live there also.

Doubt you'll find anything close to 1k near the strip on airbnb these days. The sharing economy people are getting greedy.

Yikes, a $300 move in fee. That's terrible if you're only there for 1 month. The price doesn't seem that bad otherwise if you were going to stay there medium/long term. I'm assuming it's like the Desert Manor in terms of building quality and neighborhood?

Short term rentals are illegal near the Strip so they are taking a premium on the risk. Anyone considering doing business with a short term lease of less than 30 days should know that is not permitted in Clark County unless it is from a hotel.

There's a few places on East Harmon. Harbor Islands, Americana and Harmon Crossings. I've heard sketchy things about Harbor Islands.
