maybe he'll hit like the bum who turned a $400 social security check into $1.5 million, and didn't tip once.

Typical 2+2. I am talking about the damn scratch-off roll situation. Period. Don't respond back. Admit you are wrong. Admit you didn't realize what I was talking about, and move on. I won't respond back.

Done.

2+2 *sigh*

no you weren't. Or if you were you expressed yourself unclearly.

Also, why do you think the fact that you won't respond back is an argument against a retort. At the very least, you're guaranteeing me the last word... which on the interwebs means that you're guaranteeing me that i will win the argument.

So, if you have that string of losers, and you are dealing with a FINITE roll of tickets, with a legally-mandated rate of winners, then you get a situation like Shawn Jacobs. Overall you have a low chance, but this is one of the few times that "it's due" really applies.
In the bolded part, you specifically and incorrectly try to apply the lottery ticket roll situation to SJ.

You were not just talking about the scratch offs. You were talking about how the scratch off situation is analogous to SJ. Unless theres some arcane sentence structure that youre using that makes this sentence mean the precise opposite of what it appears to mean, you are talking about SJ, not about just the scratch off rolls.

Yes. There is nothing more rewarding than living in vegas, one of the most expensive cities in the world, hanging out on an overpass all day, and only making $1400 a week.

Except maybe living in vegas, making 1400 a week, and getting kicked in the sack 58 times a week.

He was clearly talking about the Shawn Jacobs scratch off win, but I like how you presume to know what he was talking about better than he does.

I was just there and I saw the guy with the kick me in the balls for $20 sign. Sounds painful, and nearly enough money for a shot to the nads.

Side note, At OP, hope you run super hot the first few sessions and avoid Vegas temptations in order to have a chance to make it

yeah, so maybe you should go read the part in the thread where SJ has a good run of scratch off tickets.........that's what he was referring to.

Good luck OP, this should be entertaining.......

He clearly meant:

Overall you have a low chance, but this is one of the few times that "it's due" really applies.
lol @ inability to understand what someone's trying to say when it's pretty obvious and then arguing with that person trying to tell them they meant something different! Good luck getting them to change their mind and admit they meant something which they have said all along they didn't.

[/pointless lolworthy derail]

TIGHT BUDGET

So after paying various bills and getting everything in order you can see my budget below. Not exactly ideal but it'll have to work.

Im trying to come up with a few ideas to increase my bankroll (I love how I use that word so freely) outside of poker so if you guys have any ideas feel free to reply. I know KingBBLV (did I get that right?) is an expert here so maybe he can chime in. So far I've come up with the Cosmopolitan/Tropicana Slot Rebates and have eliminated the Palms rebate due to it being paid back over such a long duration. I've also elimated getting kicked in the groin as suggested because its so played out and selling cold water because the market is obviously better in the hotter months.

Why do you have a Galaxy SIII and why are you planning to take a taxi? Shuttle is much cheaper. (much much cheaper considering your paltry bankroll)

My bill is less than 55 a month for unlimited. I'm buying the SIII because its on sale tomorrow and I need a new phone if I'm going to document this properly. As far as the taxi I'm taking it to get to the hotel. Every expense I have is very calculated. It may appear that I could've done things more cheaply but sometimes the immediate cost of something doesn't represent the actual real cost and those considerations are key to making wise choices.

I'll be there in three weeks, by then you might be too 'big league' for us 2+2ers though. Just remember where you came from!

On a side note, thank god I stumbled upon this thread so I know what to do when I go busto!! The sacks been hangin too low lately anyways.

My advice will be.. Don't buy the phone, and NO taxis! Unless u have no other option..

About poker I would suggest playing at bills or at smaller room.. If I were you, I would be playing at Harrahs, IP, MGM or ballys.. And avoid bigger room cuz ur target would be to start with 100-150 at small 1/2 rooms and once u get to 300-400 u cash out and go to the next 1.. Don't go out of line, be super patient.. And gl

I'd change your post to say a lot more, but even that won't help. I think to a lot of people, his total budget is what some people spend in two days.
