Excited for today since it's the start of my actual vacation. Conferences are an absolute beating, and booking vacation on the back end was exactly the right move.

Cash last night was uneventful. Fairly card dead and a very transient table. Managed to pick someone off with a turned two pair versus his tptk. Left +$40 after about an hour.

Excited to get things really rolling with more poker and heavy basketball betting tomorrow!

Just checked into standard king on 38th floor for the next six nights. Seems like they've updated the trim a bit, and it's a nice view. Tried for the sky suite, but with the basketball tournament going on, I was SOL.

Couple more hours of work, then it's playtime!

Also the "Platinum Experience upon check-in" is so lame. MGM/Mirage should really be embarrassed.

Windy and very cool outside. Going to sit and enjoy for awhile. It's hard to beat the cool and clean desert air this time of year.

Random question - where are you sitting outside? Just randomly on a bench or something? Is there some place I'm missing at Aria that lets you chill and drink outside besides the lame area at PUB?
