Wow, just coincidentally I booked a trip to Vegas arriving 4 July and I booked my stay at Southpoint because the hotel cost plus rental car was a lot less then just hotel alone anywhere on the strip. I had no idea this is going on.

Count me in, unless I run good in the Phamous $250,000 that day!

If there is punch and pie, count me in!

Also, South Point has a strip shuttle. The Rio has a free shuttle to the strip so those of you with no rental cars who don't want to spend $50 on cab fare are in luck. Alternatively the RTC bus goes directly from most strip casinos to a stop 1/2 a block from south point. The routes are posted along the strip.
