Table game drop, or the amount wagered, jumped from $9.8 million to $22.1 million, thanks to an initiative to market Asian-style games such as baccarat and pai gow. But the percentage won by the casino tables fell from 20.6 percent to 7.9 percent.
20.6% of $9.8M is $2.02M, while 7.9% of $22.1M is $1.75M. Work harder to earn less.

But if that fills hotel rooms, sells F&B, puts butts in showroom seats, and probably most importantly generates return business, maybe it'll work out for 'em.

Room revenue fell 2.5 percent as the average daily room rate fell $4.16 from the $62.40 reported in the 2011 quarter.
Hmmm... not working out so far, but the fat lady hasn't sung.

My friend and I were talking to a Chinese guy that plays pretty big at the Riv and The Palms, I asked him what kind of rebate he was getting for playing at both places (We've seen him playing at both, that's why I started talking to him about it) from what I understood, he said the Palms and Riv are giving 5% or 10% back on his losses in promo chips. That's why the asian pits at both places have been pretty crowded during the day as of late.

What was the range of results? Any big losers or winners in your crowd?

Thanks!

+580, +780, +720, +300, -10, +550. Forgot to add one of the numbers earlier so its actually 2910 over 6 people. I also have two other friends who just did it and lost the initial 1k and got back $560 & 360 on each on the 1st half of their $500 initial rebates.

Flea is just a standard slang term for a low limit gambler in a casino. It is basically the opposite of whale.

No need to get upset.

Flea - An annoying person who wants something for nothing. One who expects to be comped for a small wager.

Go to the high limit slots area and play the 1st machine directly in front of u when you walk in. Its $20 a wack and you will either hit your stop win or burn the $1000 within 20 minutes or so. When you get your refund head over to the progressive video poker and play till you clear your rebate. This is what everyone i know has been doing. I think its the best way.

With me being in the inactive for a long time camp, should I go to the players club first to verify my eligibility? It's been at least 2.5 years since I've stepped foot in the building, let alone gambled.
