That is a really good value. I doubt $129 would have covered your cabs on Thursday alone.

Uber Travel Pass Update
Pass price 6 days: $27x6 = $162
Usage: 2 to 5 rides per day used
Total rides: 24
Total cost without promo: $387.94

It worked well for me. One minor quibble is that Uber charged me a handful of wait fees that added up to $5. I challenged every one of them because I was always ready and waiting. Either the tech is off or some drivers are starting the clock early. For example, Uber would say the driver has arrived; however you, the rider, are waiting in the designated casino Uber pickup zone, and the Uber driver would be in the line still 5 minutes before getting to you and you'd get charged an extra fee. Anyhow, it's a small fee, but a major cash grab if these are mostly erroneous charges, which they were for 100% of mine. They quickly refunded me all charges, but it's still a bad look.

spend a month downtown with a rental this summer.
For drinking purposes I took a few ubers in this period and I will just keep using uber next trips, Did some math and Uber will be just a bit more expensive but i dont have to worry about parking, damage etc..

Grunch. I used Uber and Lyft for almost two months then rented a car from Fox at $800 for four weeks. It's definitely more expensive but way more convenient for doing non-poker things. Uber and Lyft is only affordable within a small radius around the strip otherwise the round trip cost becomes ridiculous even with Pool/Line. So basically if you just want to play poker stick to Uber/Lyft but if you want to do stuff around the city and especially outside the city like Red Rock or Mount Charleston, rent a car.

For sure. For starters, I don't believe Uber pass works very far outside of the Vegas area. For day trips to Mt Charleston or Valley of Fire, an Uber would be very pricey, never mind trying to get a ride back.
