Take the short tour, not the long tour. Get there early and park on the AZ side for free. Ya, that means walking over the dam to get to the main buildings... But the walk is worth it!! And if you do take a tour, don't forget to check out the older outlying building with the old map...

Make sure you see Hoover from that new bridge. Much more impressive than being on the dam itself.

Ka at MGM is the best, then comes O.
For non Cirque shows I liked Blueman Group.

Thanks, was debating over what show to see last night and Ka was one I was leaning towards. This just sealed it.

As far as Hoover goes, is their a certain route I should take to see new bridge, or will all be obvious when I get close?

Pretty obvious once you get out there...Just follow the road signs - hwy 93.

To see the dam from the new bridge, you'll have to park and walk over the new bridge. Hope you don't mind heights!

You can't see the dam while driving over the new bridge, the guard walls are to high.

And to see the new bridge from the dam, just walk onto the dam and look south, obv

That bridge might be more impressive than the dam. Be sure to buy a dam souvenir at the dam shop(never gets old).
