I believe our satellites will pay back the player the highest % in town with most satellites paying back over 90%. Now that they are cash satellites as well, this should entice more players as the hassle of lammers are no longer there. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Even under the old structure, he is wrong. Winning once in an $85 satty got you a seat plus a little cash in the $330ish events, and winning once in a $130ish satty got a seat+ in the $500ish events.

Re: Questions about SNGs at WSOP and other locations in Vegas
Generally SnGs don't run around town. During the Series your best bet is the SnG satellites that run frequently for varying buy-ins around the clock in the Amazon room. The Venetian has SnG satellites for fewer buy-in levels, and they do not run around the clock but for 18-20 hours out of the day.
If you win a bunch of $500 tournament chips, PM me or find me at the Rio, and I will buy them for $490 each!

Addict,
I looked it up using google and found it was March 9, 2011. I guess I started staying there from time to time shortly after that.

I will PM you for the sales. What are the ethics about selling chips? I have read on 2+2 before to not sell the tokens for less than their net worth. Is this true?

You can get full value for them if you hang out around registration lines and have somewhat decent social skills. People will help you out.

Re: Questions about SNGs at WSOP and other locations in Vegas
The WSOP SNGs range from $125 to $1050 and higher, with payouts obv adjusting to what event you are trying to sat into. The bigger the buyin, the better the structure and payouts, obv.
The play is REALLY bad, and ALMOST justifies the horrific rake.
The SNGs are a first come, frist serve basis. I forget which part of the Amazon Room you go to sign up, but its near the front, near the cash game action. Once you get your name in, you go to the cashier and buyin, and have to wait for 10 seats to fill.
Winners get WSOP Lammers for the event the satellite is for, plus a little cash on the side. These things often get chopped up quite a bit.

Yeah, you can always get full value, it's not difficult. Don't encourage people to buy them for less by selling it to them for less.

Re: Questions about SNGs at WSOP and other locations in Vegas
Anybody know if the Rio is keeping the rake at a flat $13 per person for all single table satellites from $125 to $525? I mean they aren't going to raise the rake and give us Total Rewards points or some such nonsense are they? As soon as someone can confirm that it's still $13, please post.

WSOP website says lammers are " good for use in any of the 61 WSOP gold bracelet events."
But there appear to be few satellites, e.g. $75 at 9 AM daily.
Questions:
1) Where is there info about STT SNGs?
2) Are lammers also good at WSOP daily tourneys or only bracelet events?
.

Good at any WSOP tournament, even bigger satellites.
But I think the smallest denom is $500.

Re: Questions about SNGs at WSOP and other locations in Vegas
In past years the WSOP has opened a day before the first event so that people could try to satellite in with $65 STT's. They were pretty well attended, too. I guess the juice wasn't enough for Caesars because it didn't open the day before this year, and they have probably eliminated the $65 STT.
Has anyone been playing the Venetian satties? How have they been?

Wow.... 500/1000 then 1000/2000 is a BIG jump?
There's only 3-4 left if this level is reached so whats the rush in finishing here? Is coloring off the blacks that important? Come on now, this isn't 2005....
I hope this is an oversight and 600/1200 & 800/1600 are returned

The lammers in the past were all $500 at wsop... They would take them for anything (megas, stts, mtts) $500 and up (they even let me buy 2 $325 stt entries with one when 2of us went to the cage together but not sure if that was normal)

Dude, it's a single table satellite. Doubling the blinds is not unheard of.

this, they dont want to waste allot of time in 1 table SnG's.
They just want to start another one asap, because they wont make money if its taken.
