Is anyone aware of 2+2 meetups or any groups that meetup to discuss gambling? Poker, sports, horses, blackjack, etc

I understand a lot of gambling is zero sum so many will want to keep their strategies "hush-hush", but I think there can be value in information/sharing and discussion, not to mention networking with others who have sizeable bankrolls and can afford to take risks to push edges.

FWIW, I play poker professionally, I have a large bankroll and a strong work ethic to pick up on other forms of gambling. Are there others interested in networking and/or mentoring?

Might just be me, but I don't think you'll endear yourselves to many poker pros by referring to their occupation as "gambling." Many pokers players, bureaucrats and investors fought hard in many states to differentiate games of skill from games of chance.

Dude come on, really?

Also, the meetup group is designed to be broader than poker. Building networking relationships with other individuals who have $, above average intelligence, and a similar lifestyle as you is not the worst use of anyone's time. Or is everyone on here resigned to living a lonewolf existence? Like, people do recognize that there is a benefit from learning from others/ building a business network of contacts and not everyone is "out to get you"

yea but that's all in the name of trying to get poker legalized where they are. they wouldn't give a **** if they were called scumbag bottom feeding poker players if it made it legal.

they're not gonna care someone on 2p2 calls them a pro gambler (and as far as taxes go, that's what they are.)
