Some of those people are battling terrible addictions and there is no way around getting them to stop their habits without a support system around them to intervene. Does that mean they aren't deserving of a meal? Is every homeless person on the streets addicted and using drugs on a daily basis? If not, should every person down on their luck who have found themselves in this difficult predicament be penalized for the group that is? Does that also mean that by someone taking the time, energy, and financial means to provide said meal is actually just fueling the drug habit rather than simply providing a helping hand to someone in need of nourishment? Am I being naive in asking these questions?
Food is cheap. It's very easy for a homeless person to beg enough $ to buy food for the day. Food is NOT why they're begging. They're begging for money to supply their habit. Free food from you and even from a soup kitchen means more of that money can be used for the habit.

If you don't realize that, yes I think you're naive about how things really are. I used to be a person who regularly bought them food until I realized this. So I used to think just like you. I was naive too. Until so many homeless people refused my free food and requested money instead that lightbulbs started slowly going off in my head and I did more research and sure enough it confirmed my suspicions.

The money that panhandlers collect ultimately ends up with the cartels or the liquor store.

So you're not only against individuals providing food to the homeless, you're also opposed to organizations doing it. You're just a wonderful human being, aren't you?

Yes, I believe orgs and people supplying free food to people with addictions in countries where food is cheap such as the U.S. are doing more harm than good. Just because I have a different opinion than you doesn't mean I'm a bad person. What you posted above shows you in a bad light, not me.

to help the homeless, they should provide much better security and much safer locks and stronger doors in the budget/siegel suites places. plus offer a monthly rate of like $200 LESS instead of just the weekly rate times 4. this will do wonders for making paying rents easier.

those places way too unsafe, so im stuck paying $1355 per month to live elsewhere by the month, though im not earning nearly enough at poker to afford this plus daily Uber. my costs are like $500 per month over my income (which is only about $2000 per month in poker winnings)

and its hard to play good poker when u constantly see others (and hear) overpriced $120 hourly massages being hocked in the poker room u cannot afford, making u feel like **** for not being able to afford spending $25 per day additional. rooms should ban having to see reminders constantly of how much richer recreational tourists are than us professional grinders.
