sd is awesome. blondes everywhere. i go there 4-6 times a year to vacation/visit friends, but i'm trying to mix more vegas in. wish i had more opportunities in a year to go to both, but my job doesn't really allow it.

once i pass this next examination though i will be lined up to go into a management role... and i will be able to move pmuch wherever there's an opening. working full time/poker part time... better to live in vegas or live in sd?

You can live 10 min from the beach AND play poker.

I am sure the 10-20nl game at Ocean's is big enough for you....and did I mention UCSD has the highest concentration of hot blondes per square mile of any school in the US?

I agree with strawberry... I love where I live because I have the beach close, great poker close, and Vegas a little bit over 3 hrs away. SD is the place to be IMO has a bad ass downtown and awesome weather year out

I really like LA... Maybe it's the Hispanic in me, but I feel like it has a ton of history our kind. Downtown LA blows, but the surrounding areas are nice as hell. As for the OC, I also love it there. I work and spend most of my time there... Was just at south coast plaza yesterday and its awesome there.

So much hate for LA. Of course vegas is the best poker city. It is the mecca of poker. All the biggest fish, medium fish and good to great players will show up.

LA is ok, but what makes it great is vegas 4 hours away. San diego 3 hours away and the bay 6 hours away. Its pretty much the best spot in the country to make your home for poker.

Don't understand all of the Snacks hate. It is relatively inexpensive (for that part of the strip) and there are some reasonably healthy options that taste decent enough. I obviously wouldn't ever go out of my way to eat there but it definitely serves its purpose.
