Made it. 1 hr 38 min. Got caught big time in crowds. Got stuck in both bellagio fountain show and TI pirate show.
Then held up at about 4 traffic lights at about 3-4 min each.
Also a bunch of stairs and pedestrian bridges where due to crowding running was not an option.
I figure I lost about 20 min. Overall happy with my time though.

you can acess it right at that first corner by going thru mandalay bay back parking lot... it would only take you a minte or two to get to it

Nope... take frank sinatra right at mandalay bay/russel... it's about 200-300 yards over from lv blvd to FS blvd at that point as you cut thru MB parking lot at the convention area... then take FS all the way down until it connects and turns into industrial and that road goes all the way down until almost charleston where it does deadend... but you can start zigzagging over to main street (it's only about two blocks over) after you cross sahara. it's the area where the arts district begins and main street will take you to freemont.

all you are really adding is about one block over at MB and about another block back to where GN is and there is MUCH LESS clutter and much less obstructions.

The best part... there are almost no traffic lights.

Woke up this morning and my ankle was pretty swollen. Guess zig zagging 6+ miles on concrete can be bad if you aren't used to it.
Had a doctors appointment this afternoon, I have a slight sprain, should be 100% in about 10 days or so.

Improving your time by a minute per mile is no small feat. But doing it later at night with less crowds will help save 3-5 minutes by itself I would imagine, so the gap isn't as large as it seems.

Impossible...they are having a restock here in a month or so but it will probably be more of the same.

BTW, that Nike Store in the Caesars mall is badass. I got a chance to visit it while we were there last week and I couldn't believe my eyes. I could have stayed in there for hours.
