I have been working on my stamina since the beginning of the year and I feel like it is in fact peaking in time for the series. Logged a 14.5 hr day yesterday (longest since bf) and a 12 hr day today. I am fried but feel very good. My goal for this series is over 300 hrs and I feel poised to be able to accomplish that.

I love street poker! If I didn't get to play street poker sometimes at the felt, I would almost never play poker.

You can obv do it Katana esp with any training. I would advise against taking acid and doing it though

What is the longest distance you can run without stopping? That is much more important than the time you can run a mile in. If you can currently do 4-5 miles without stopping, which is the 9-10 minute mile pace, you should have no problem.

Do you have to stay on the strip? Because if so, you need to be able to run 8 miles at a 10 minute pace to deal with the crowd and bridges that the strip brings. Also, its kinda hot in June.

Doable, yes. If you have no regular running experience outside of a mile at a time, I think you are an underdog.

First thing that popped in my head is that he's a huge favorite if he does this late at night/early morning ainec w/30 days to train.

6'1 about 258 currently. I do a lot of weights, but not cardio, tbh.

This brings up an excellent point. Time was never mentioned, so I think I will take advantage of some crazy timeframe, maybe 3-4am, with it being cooler and way less to deal with.

Come down and we'll do a last longer/race.

No..but only other route would be what? Making a right down Trop, then left on Koval, and then back up again at Sahara or Spring Mountain maybe? Seems like that would take off some valuable time.

At this point in time, I can do 2 miles without stopping. I haven't done anything over 5 miles in a long time. After looking more into it, I do have to agree with you, personally I feel like I'm an underdog here.

I think tomorrow I'm gonna go for a "trial run" and see where I'm at. I may need to adjust the time....I'd feel a lot more confident if I can get an extra 30 min.

the more I look at it... the more challenging it looks to be.

Maryland is about the straightest line but you need to get past the airport and over to that street. Originally I thought that maybe Industrial would be a great alternative, it's only one block over with no bridges to cross and it's fairly less traveled, but it's on the wrong side of LV Blvd. you would be adding a block to your walk... and then some.

Viva Las Vegas.

Also, Run LVB all the way up. Cut through parking lots should help. Cut through the EZ Pawn lot, 4th to Carson for the final stretch. Don't stop at lights either, just keep on pushing through haha

maps.google.com -> directions ->
WALK BUTTON (not car/bus/bike)
From: "Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Sign"
To: Golden Nugget
DON'T FORGET TO CLICK THE WALK BUTTON

distance: 6.6 miles directly up the strip. At 3 or 4 am it should be a breeze if you can avoid the hookers.
