Is the MGM poker room still under construction?

the room was never under construction... there is construction going on all around it. yes there is construction going on, but the poker room is in it's old location.

Unfortunately. It's actually back at the temp location.... was there about a week ago.

Was told that worst case, they might be there until Hakasan opens, which is April.

Yeah, was at MGM Saturday night. Temp location for foreseeable future, which means I prob won't be back for the foreseeable future.

Yeah. Basically..... this is how the math works out.

Poker room accounts for between 1 to 2% of a casino's revenue

On the other hand, a popular club like Marquee pulled in $90MM last year (XS did about $80MM)

So for the casino management..... making sure Hakkasan opens ASAP is way more important than the poker players.

Man... the poker room is going to be rocking when that thing finally opens.
in for drunk players and the mini skirt dates they hang with.

There was a huge whale in seat 3. I think he was asian, but didn't get a good look at his face. Rumored to have lost millions in the pit this week.

ya - played 92.75 hrs in 10 days (2 overlapping prop bets) and was totally fried. Currently on R&R - back in action friday. Hit me up next time you are in town!!

Like I said I never thought I'd be fired up to pay 300 for a set of headphones - especially a completely overhyped brand. I tried em on for about 2 songs and was in fact hooked. They made my music experience wonderful. Highly advise trying them out (studio beats)

I echo the sentiments about every 2+2 member in real life being awesome. It's certainly been my experience. If there's a meetup I encourage you to attend, be it in Vegas or elsewhere. Wish I could have made it to the LAPC one a couple of weeks ago...
