So me and spc have been doing an absolute shytload of flying

we have also been heavily involved in wakeboarding - which has been a blast

we recently got scuba certified and are actually heading to bonaire for scuba and windsurfing this saturday for a week. She just got a kick ass underwater camera for filming so Ill poast up some trip highlights upon return.


The poker has been ossum. In terms of heading back to vegas all of this clean living needs some balance...so we go back for the stripperz and blow

played some single deck last night at el cortez. funny how adversarial that game is even for a little minnow like me. never felt like i was actually playing against the dealer before playing bj lol.

there were one or two times playing 3 handed i know that ****er shuffled early because the count was very good.

the floor changed shifts and the new floor asks the dealer in spanish what's the biggest bet i've made tonight. the dealer responds, in spanish, 25. haha! yo hablo espanol, mother****ers! nice try! my betting pattern was always exactly the same, i bet $10 on the first hand, and if i won and the count improved, i would let it ride on the 2nd hand. if the count did not improve, i'd bet $10 again. and then there would be a shuffle. i never ever bet 25, why lie?

still, though. nice game.

I kind of have a fondness for El cortez... I don't go out my way to go there, but when my mom comes into town, her and her friends love staying there so I do play some while I visit. I always wanted to sit in that old crusty Poker game that Jackie used to be playing in an a daily basis, but I never did... to bad he's gone now.

The place (Thomas & Mack) have 16.000 seats, and right now I have tickets way back (for $104 a piece). Might upgrade if price fall

Anyone do Vegas gun shows? There are two on TDay weekend, Cashman and Santa Fe Station. Cashman must be the bigger one, right? Would Santa Fe Station even be worth the entrance fee?

Cashman is where you want to go... Vegas gun shows aren't what they once were... but the cashmanand the south point shows are still decent.

Supposedly, in the past couple days a 1/2 game got super deep based on one guy who was just spewing, big time. So, one guy in particular, kept getting the best of this low level whale, and the whale says, "It must be your hat. It's a lucky hat. I will give you $1000 for the hat." and of course the guy sells the hat.

I missed out on this whole thing, heard several people talking about it. If this particular guy is still in Vegas, I want in on that game.

This was like 2 weeks ago so no he isn't still in Vegas. He dropped $15K in total in the $1/2 game
