I haven't been to Vegas in a couple years but when I used to go I used to always stay at the Encore and then would play poker at the Wynn.

I'm going to a bachelor party in a couple weeks which is lower budget than my other Vegas groups so we're all staying at Harrah's which I've never stayed at before. Iplan on playing poker so was wondering how the games are at Harrah's compared to Wynn or if I would just be better off walking over to Wynn for my games.

The only game I know is NL and I usually play 3/5 or 5/10. I'm also a lifetime loser at poker so it's more just for the excitement.

I've never played 5/10, so grain of salt here, but I'm guessing Harrah's will be pillowy soft at almost any level compared to Wynn.

Does 5/10 even get going at Harrah's ever? I've never seen it in the few weeks worth of days I've been checking Bravo. That said, maybe it's worth the step down to play a softer game.

Harrah's during the day can be slow, but decent. Harrah's past midnight is one of my favorite games in town.

Harrahs will have a couple of 1/2 games running on the weekend according to Dynasty's survey. A long time ago, I lost a BI there but learned the difference between relative strength and absolute strength.

was at harrahs 2x last year, nothing above the min. Once a local tried to bully AM crowd into 2/5, it went nowhere. evenings were soft. Course, one trip we were the bachelor party, so that may have influenced it.

Next door is flamingo, when I was there it was soft and fun, again all 1/3.

Wynn does run some good games. The 1/3 plays pretty much like a 2/5 and 2/5 like 5/10.
