Furthermore as the "Golden Knights" maybe gold or yellow should have been a more prominent color on their jerseys (although Nashville made a horrible looking yellow jersey.)
Oddly enough I think the current Pittsburgh yellow is called "Vegas gold". The Pittsburgh Penguins moved away from the Pittsburgh Steelers/Pirates yellow and stole a great colorway for the Vegas Golden Knights. Also the Detroit Red Wings look prefect in just red and white. The Vegas Golden Knights would look perfect in just "Vegas gold" and white colored jerseys.
You don't know what the **** you're talking about. Those Penguins jerseys are old. These are the ones they used this year and will continue to wear in the future, with a yellow that's identical to the Steelers/Pirates:
It is, by the way, the same yellow worn by the Nashville Predators.
The Knights wouldn't have been able to "force" the Kings to do anything. They are separate entities. If the Knights tried to use the Raiders colors, Foley would have been criticized for being unoriginal and ripping off the Raiders/Kings. Four teams use black as their primary home jersey. One uses yellow. None used gray before Vegas.

Because a) what does "Silver" mean in sports? Second place. And if teams are focused on winning (as all teams claim they are), you don't shoot for second. You shoot to win; b) Nevada produces 80% of the gold in the country and like 5% of the gold in the world. We're not devoid of gold, even though we are the Silver State; c) whatever inexcusable bull**** Foley used to "honor" West Point.
If you want to ***** about the name, at least jump on the "It should have something to do with Vegas" bandwagon, and not the dying "It should be Silver!" bandwagon. Those people are fewer and further between.
The ****ing negativity in this town and from NHL fans has been disgusting. Someone decided to drop half a billion dollars on a long-shot expansion team in a town that's never had a pro sports team before, knowing that it was going to be a terrible investment and admitting as much, and he's done nothing but eat **** about it ever since. I'm sick to ****ing death reading every braindead **** running to every message board, Reddit thread, or Facebook post expressing their distaste for the team name, colors, jerseys, whatever. Take your ****ing uninformed opinions, write them on paper, light them on fire, then shove them up your ass.
