I haven't heard of anybody using these rewards, but I doubt it's any better deal than the average e-mail offer. It's cheap enough that it might be worth a shot, though.

I'm a Vegas area resident, using the mobile app mostly. I just got over 20K loyalty points and the last few days it has been capping me to 200ish loyalty points a day. Anyone else experienced this?

I'm in the UK using both mobile & PC based. I have >1.1m LP's & whenever my 'Loyalty Point Meter' fills, this now only adds 10 LP's to my balance (used to be ~100(?)).

Never noticed the balance being capped.

It has always been 10 LPs per fill on my Facebook game if I'm remembering correctly. On the mobile game it varies depending on what level you're on, but I think it gradually fills slower but gives you more per pull. There has always been some max fills per day; the max decreased over a year ago I believe, but I don't recall to what. I used to play a lot and I think I only got to my daily max twice. The LPs earned from other sources like collecting from properties and leveling up don't count towards the max.

After splurging 48k on a weekend bonus night at Luxor, I have about 40k to use on up to 2 more items, preferably buffets/food. Is Bellagio lunch buffet really worth 15k more than Aria? Anyone been to both?

To clarify, the lock symbol comes up over the meter after I have earned about 200 total loyalty points that day. When I click on the meter it has a countdown. Yesterday it gave a 15 hour countdown, today it said 20 hours. I can still play after the lock shows up, but obviously I get no loyalty points, so it is pretty pointless.

I just started playing about a month ago. Maybe they have a 20K a month limit for Vegas residents? I haven't tried playing on Facebook lately.

The mobile app collects LPs so much more slowly than the FB version that it's really not even worth doing unless you enjoy playing the game.

I enjoyed it a lot for awhile but then got frustrated when the only quests I had left were extremely hard to do. I gave up completely when they dropped the LP bonuses for quests on my Android phone version several months ago. Then a month or two ago someone showed me the LP bonuses were still there for completing quests on the iPhone app.

Yes it is IMO. Aria I would only go to if it was free, Bellagio I would pay normal pirce to go to!

Bellagio buffet has a better selection and has King Crab legs as well as Snow Crab legs vs. only Snow Crab at the Aria, and the food just seemed tastier overall. They also switch from Lunch offerings to Dinner offerings at 3:30 PM, we went around 2:30 and after waiting an hour in line we hit both offerings. Significantly larger desert offering at the Bellagio as well.

I can't imagine that you can earn enough LPs just playing the mobile version of this, even just by clicking all my properties & getting my daily spin on the PC version I probably pull in ~300 LP per day (without spinning, just from the occasional daily spin LP + the LPs from clicking properties).

I went on a huge blackjack heater one night that leveled me up about 12 times. Was playing 2 spots for 40k each, and kept going til the money was gone.

Is it true that spending any amount of money on the game increases the number of rewards you can use in a 30 day period from 3 to 4?

Bellagio buffet has never let me down, but they sure do want a premium for it on MyVegas. I only had Aria's buffet for breakfast, and I was pretty impressed. The eggs benedict to-order station was really clutch!

Five50 is amazing and a true value, IMO. It may not be quite as good as Secret Pizza, but it the line is shorter and it is really good pie in its own right.

No. It's a subject of some debate, and nobody knows the specific rules involved. Basically, some people who have bought chips (and I've heard some crazy amounts spent) do get four or more rewards, but it's definitely not a hard and fast Buy $5 and Get the Bonus Award situation.

Alright, thanks. I was fine spending the $5 or $10 if it meant an extra reward, but anything higher than that is pretty pointless. It makes me sigh seeing a $199 package knowing that people actually buy it.

On another message board somebody was telling me about how a friend spent more than $600, which just struck me as insane considering you're only getting the play chips and you still have to play for hours and hours to maybe get $600 worth of actual rewards. But they seemed to think it was worth it, so I didn't try to convince them they were wrong.

If you join any of the myvegas FB groups, they're full of middle to old age slot degens that dump tons of money on red chips. Some guy posted a screenshot if his 1,000,000+ LP and asked if he could convert to red chips since he had no intention of ever going to Vegas. Apparently PlayStudio takes care of these high roller whales and has done LP to red chip conversions for them, etc.

Those groups are full of people that complain (!) when they get LP for their daily spin and have actually put in requests to the devs to remove LP from the daily spin wheel. Just ****ing mind blowing.

I'm sure they're happy to do that all say and all night, take in reasonably valuable LPs and give out worthless red chips. The people I was talking about and who I thought were nuts were at least cashing in LPs for rewards.

I mean, there are some decent slot games but there must be a ton of free decent slot games out there, right? I mean, my Mom used to play Slingo and play chip poker, but I'm sure (or at least hope) she never shelled out real cash.

Go to Aria, i try Bellagio and Aria on the same trip.
Bellagio is ok but Aria is better.

+1. After my poker friends kept pushing me to play myVEGAS, my spouse and I earned over 110,000 LP for our Vegas trip. All that spinning away and distraction turned out to be a waste of time, as we only used one free buffet reward each on our first day, and did not use any of the other four rewards in our nine days there.

One of the few myVEGAS rewards that has a value of > $4 / 1,000 LP are the 2-for-1 show tickets, but after we picked up our rental car (and got a free upgrade to a convertible sports car), we noticed a 4-for-1 show coupon so we used that instead. We have now refunded all our unused myVEGAS rewards.

If you are good enough, playing poker (especially multi-tabling online) is much better than being distracted by myVEGAS.

I used two rewards on my trip last month: The 99K LP Bonus weekday at Aria and the 19.5K LP wine pairing at American Fish. Both turned out to be excellent values.

-The Bonus night was used the day before my five-night reservation at Aria (it was a Facebook deal, view upgrade+$150 in dining credit) and they ended up giving my wife and a I a SkySuite upgrade for all six nights. I heard they did that for other MyVegas players who used their Aria bonus day that week as well. The room was certainly nice, but the perks of it included access to snack and drinks 24/7. Coffee, soda, Fiji, wine, pastry, cookies, fruit. Just awesome.

-the wine pairing turned out to be a $39 wine credit and AF was very good. Their happy hour food, at $5 per plate, is like stealing.

Combined with some groupons and the American Casino Guide we saved around $1k no problem.

We got the same $39 credit on American Fish and were very sad to hear that it's closed.

We got free Cirque tickets and a Mandalay Bay room, but with the paring down of rewards and the amount of time it takes, this next trip will put an end to the game for me.

With regard to the 3 redeemed per 30 days.....

Say I redeem a hotel for 80,000, but stay 2 consecutive nights. Does this count as 1 or 2 redemptions?

For most if the hotel rewards you can't redeem two consecutive nights. If you mean that you're paying cash for the second night, its one reward. If you use two, it's two.

They finally added nights for the rest of 2014, and no more Aria. So that's pretty much it for me.

Hopefully, they add Aria back. Either than or Ill be waiting on the Fandango gift cards I guess. Not much else of value for me.
