Absolutely nothing at all, my man! I just don't want you to get undue trolling from people who click your thread thinking you are trying to move there to turn pro when you clearly have other ideas and plans for your survival. You're just going to have a little bit of fun before you get back to real life

I agree that if your moving to vegas to solely play poker full time (if that's possible) with 2k, then this is going to end very badly.
however,
if your deciding to move to vegas, find a job, play a little poker while you work and get situated, slowly working in more poker hours, and living in the best damn place on earth, then more power to you. rock it out, stay smart, get a job, and grind your ass off.

the way you made it sound is moving to vegas with 1500 bucks, and going to crush the poker scene out there, not happening with that little money. take advice from here, ignore the trolls, sometimes it's hard to tell the differnce between the two.

good luck, keep updated and crush at life first then poker.

Just curious but you said you played thousands of hours of poker last month in Vegas. Where did that money you made go?

Thanks fiveby. Yeah I either intended to go out with 2k and make it last as long as I can, knowing there'd be a 99% chance of going broke and going back to Oklahoma. I'd rather get a job right after I have my first losing session and play when I can and just live life. I have no kids or anything holding me back.

I never said thousands of hours last month in vegas. I said I was in vegas last month and I've played thousands of hours of live poker. (Over the last 10 years)

thousands of hours should give you an 'ok' projection of what to expect. but should also mean you should know you need more than that $. good luck

What kind of car do you drive?

I need to run good and play better the 1st couple days. My plan is to short buy, I know it's less ev but I have my reasons with a small bankroll. Dodge Dakota slt ext cab 5.2 v8

You need to play better the 1st couple of days? You should always be trying to play your best.....

Also read some other replys that you don't play scared money because you are "experienced".
Let me tell you one thing: you have a small bankroll and you are down to 1kish and you are in a big pot for a significant portion of your remaining roll you will be playing scared money believe me.

Its hard for me to beleive someone would move to vegas on 1500 i would feel short just on a regular 5 day trip.... But good luck OP hope you run well and have a great time

man it's comments like this that keep making me think this is all bad. anyway, keep it positive and do your thing.

Played last night lost 200...played tonight won 305. Home game tomorrow for 50 buy in usually I make 300-400 with huge fish in the game.
