south point area is fine... not sure where any of the property is you are looking at??? the apartments are not upscale or heavily secure... the condo's I really dont know.

All 3 of those places are just north of Southpoint casino at the light at Serene Ave I think it is. They are guard gated 24/7 so that is a big plus to us. I have also seen some smaller houses popping up just east of the casino that are right in the $1k/month range as well, so prob will do some comparisons, but definitely like the idea of the guard gated security over having more space for the first go around of living and experiencing the area.

Thanks again, and if anyone has ever lived in these condos or knows someone who has/does please pass on any reviews you can. Much appreciated!

There's nothing wrong with that area. Super fast access to everywhere and everything. I live fairly close to South Point as well, just over the interstate and it's easy. Great shopping at LV outlets south and Crossroads Center on Blue Diamond. Plenty of stuff to eat in all directions. I think it's a great place to start in Vegas so you can explore some of the more niche neighborhoods if you think of staying long term.
