I was reading several post on here asking abt renting a car vs uber, and I just wondered if mopeds are available for rent in vegas? I've seen them for rent in other countries and hawaii, but never really thought abt this in vegas.
This seems like a good idea, could be cheaper than a car and Vegas is laid out close enough for moped travel, and it doesn't rain much.

Same reason why you don't want to ride a bike around the strip. Drunken drivers are not a mopeds best friend.

No it's not the same here. Those are very moped friendly places with tons of mopeds. Here overwhelmingly cars.

I've ridden motorcycles all over the country, and there are far worse places than Vegas.
I live in Vegas and ride year round.

Mopeds, however, are another story. People who ride mopeds get what they deserve.

I'd have to get at least a 150cc scooter to move my 250+ lbs around with any speed. At that point (and the prices they are) I might as well buy another car.

That video was good, it looks like most of those accidents were the fault of the moped and not the car.
Besides, if a car is $25 a day, a moped should be something like $10 a day, but they want way more than that in Vegas for a moped.
