Re: Mlife Comps

Is it $5 coin in / tier point on video BJ? To get 400k tier points that's $2M coin in, at 0.5% that's $10k expected loss?

Re: Mlife Comps

I'm not sure what video BJ you guys are asking about, but Monte Carlo has 3-2 video BJ where the dealer stays on all 17's, you can double anything, double after the split, split to three hands, and surrender. I have not played it in months but it paid points out at the standard level when I played in. Circus Circus has the same machine but does not share players club.

MGM and Luxor have the old Royal Match machines from Shuffle Master. Those have lower paybacks. IIRC, it is like 99.4%. Rules are H17, DA, DAS, SUR, Split once, 7 card charlie.

They are probably referencing the BJ game on the IGT Gameking machines.

Why would you want 400,000 tier credits?
200,000 gets you a platinum card and 1,000,000 gets you a noir card, there's nothing in between.

It might be cheaper to buy something in Veer towers. They automatically give you a platinum card.

Re: Mlife Comps

According to the MGM poker floor last week, Mlife comps are combined for all properties and good for a year for everything ......EXCEPT POKER. Poker comps are still seperate and are supposed to be carried over forever at this point, but everything is subject to change w/o notice. I didn't check it out, assumed floor knew what they were talking about.

This sounds as close to right as I have heard.

Re: Mlife Comps

Your tier credits and your comps are loosely correlated but not directly.

For example, someone that plays the slots at low stakes 35 times per year and is earning 30k tier credits per trip is going to make Noir but won't be given much on a per-trip bases, even though they will accumulate a good deal of express comps.

A good rule of thumb is you're going to get 1-2 average bets back in comps for every 4 hours of playing. So at $100 per hand for 4 hours you'll get something like $150 back in comps (enough for a free night but nothing more).

Re: Mlife Comps

Just curious,

4 guys staying at the MGM and playing lots of BJ and Dice. Could we accumulate our comps and get a table/bottle service at Wet Republic on Saturday?

The Mlife site sucks so bad. Super slow and I checked room rates for fall trip and absolutley no discounts anywhere. Its too bad because I like there properties way better than CET.

If you hate the site, check out the Iphone app, it is hilariously bad.

Also F them for not getting on the Bravo Poker bandwagon like every other casino in America.

I can log in but they don't even have my future trips (I have two) listed. They also decided to have a separate app for every individual casino for some reason! You can download the Luxor app, the Excalibur app, etc. Why?! And unlike every other strip casino they won't get on Bravo, so you can't see what games are going at Aria or Bellagio without calling the rooms. Such a stupid company.
