Let's get this trip report started. In town from the 3rd to the 9th. Let's see how long I focus on "work."

Trip starts with a work conference requiring me to stay "mildly" sober. But then Saturday all shoes are off.

Found craps. Down a quick Hundo before my drink ever came. Waited for the drink. Worst watered down Greyhound ever. Started craving an IPA. Moved to bar. Took two sips and then bam!

Thanks. Can't wait to get to that Craft beer video poker bar at the Linq. Might destroy that bar drinking several quality beers come Saturday. I'll provide beer by beer coverage.

Morning sunrise at 6:30am. Hard to tell but kind of a cool shot of the strip this early. I'm usually at a Blackjack table.

Meetings are done for the morning. Met with a guy from MGM Resorts. We joked about the lack of properties in Colorado. For what it's worth, he made clear that the company has no intention of expanding to Colorado. Execs do not like our marijuana freedoms. Damn hippies.

Nothing beats breaktime gambools.

There is a homebrew club meeting in Aurora at the Dry Dock coming up 9/18 at 6pm. No gambooling, but lots of great beers. I just received my one month reminder notice to pour at the GABF.
