If I was just planning on wandering around the strip stopping in a couple casinos or something whats a good place to park for free?

-Treasure Island.

-Planet Hollywood

-Rio (if you call that the strip)

-Venetian/palazzo

-Stratosphere

-SLS

-I believe circus circus is still free.

I think Hooters and Tropicana are free but I never park at those places.

Make sure not to leave any personal info in car.

Someone may steal your identity and drain your bank account.

and you will likely have no recourse.

What about impersonal info? Like what if I leave a flashcard on the dash with random trivia such as:

"Did you know that bats give birth upside down?"

Somebody recently told me he wished MGM had started paid parking years ago. That way he found out it was way more convenient for him to park at Hooters and walk across Tropicana to get into MGM.

Beware Tropicana. They are very tow prone.

If you park there, make sure to walk into the Tropicana casino first. Then just cross the bridge from there. Don't immediately cross the street from the parking lot and straight to the MGM.

Hooters not as tow prone but follow the same advice above. Go into the casino first before crossing the street to the MGM. This will be near automatic if you park in the covered parking lot.

Another free parking for Wynn/Encore purposes: Fashion Show Mall. But only advisable during mall hours plus or minus 1 to 3 hours before and after closing.

I've parked at Tropicana a half dozen times and walked to MGM/Excalibur/Mandalay Bay.

Each time I left my car for 4-8 hours, and never had a problem..

I do too with Pearl card but I have never tried yet, I only park at Caesars properties with Platinum card.

Are the steps to park at MGM properties the same as with Caesars?
Get ticket upon entering and before getting into car scan ticket and insert card to get it free?

Or do you use your card to get into the garage and swipe card to get out?

At Bellagio you swipe in and out, don't need to take a ticket.
