yeah as eco mentioned I was referring to the actual line of credit and he was talking about individual markers

also, although lines of credit and comps are in theory mutually exclusive, there is zero chance the marketing department doesn't know about your line of credit and cater their offers to you accordingly

Hosts can see/have access to credit information. Yes. This is true.

Anyone had issues getting their room discounted to the poker rate by Venetian? Seems like a convoluted process where you have to book at full price first.

Poker rate isn't applied until after you've shown up and played the minimum hours (must play at least 6 or 8 hours - can't remember -each day.). So, yes, in effect....you must book at regular rate.

There are a handful on Vegas Message Board in the Trip Reports section, sort by Views. There are a few guys with enormous budgets and high 6 figure swings, lots of chip porn, and pics of some of the villas, private gaming suites at Venetian, and MGM mansion. I think you need to create an account to view the pictures.

Going to be in town in April and will be bringing the wife for the first time. I would like to take her to Kabuto. How far in advance should we make a reservation?

Does Ube/Lyft have wheelchair accessible vans/vehicles with a ramp in Las Vegas? I use a wheelchair and these are rather convenient, if not mandatory.

No. And Uber/Lyft is not readily available on the strip. It is mainly used from the airport or from the suburbs to the strip. It's nothing like how it is in other major cities.

As far as what you're looking for, most hotels/resorts have handicap accessible shuttle services or house cars.

IMHO, make the reservation now. It won't hurt to do so. Also, I suggest you download/use opentable app for reservations. They can be made/altered on the go!

Enjoy. That place is great.

Hi I will be in Vegas during the March Madness and want to spend a lot of time playing cashgames (5/10-25/50 NL/Plo). Any suggestions for a good Hotelroom on the strip? I see the Vdara is approx 200 a night on avg.
I know everything will be very expensive but would be nice to find something under 200$ a night inluding taxes. Pokerroomrates are fine.

So if you know anything I appreciate your help

Lol. Good luck finding 5/10 - 25/50 games. First time in Vegas?

Vdara is fine. It's next to aria but has no casino and limited accommodations. You're better off staying at MGM of the Venetian, honestly.

Vdara is right next to Aria and Bellagio, which I'm almost certain are the most likely places to have the high limit action he is looking for.

Just make sure you use the Bravo app to check. I live here - very rarely are there these type of games spread other than at Bellagio or occasionally at Aria.

GL. Enjoy.

Disagree.

Many hotels have designated, or understood, Uber pickup areas. Ask any valet or bellhop.

I remember hearing that a certain percentage of Uber cars in Las Vegas have to have wheelchair ramps. Check the app for accessible vehicle availability when you get to Las Vegas.

Hotels do not themselves have handicap accessible shuttle buses. They do have in-hotel scooter rentals, and they do refer to services like Medical Transportation Company which will go anywhere in Las Vegas for a flat fee of $70.

This is simply untrue. Über and Lyft can drop off and are not permitted to reform pick ups. I don't care to argue - I'm simply trying to offer help. I drive and park on my own - I haven't used the service - I could possibly stand corrected. See this article: http://lasvegassun.com/news/2015/oct...-on-the-strip/

Re: the hotel shuttles, CET offers them. I've personally used them and there is handicap access. The above poster is incorrect.

Enjoy your trip!

The bold is incorrect. Pick ups are most certainly permitted.

Know several people who have been picked up on the strip, it's definitely a thing.

Here is a forum with the pickup/drop off locations at each hotel...

Is there any convenient place to see what promos are happening currently at various properties? I don't go to Vegas often, so I don't follow the changes as they are happening.

Hey.
So me and a friend are planning on booking a panoramic suite at vdara for 2 weeks this summer.

The plan is that we are going to be 3 staying in the suite. But we're only 2 people right now. But we have like 4-5 guys being like "yeah, i'm up for vegas but dont want to book this far in advance".. you know... lazy poker players.

So we are going to find the third person.
But what do we do with the room. Can we just book it for 2 persons and then just let the third person stay with us (give us cash for the room later on). Or do we have to pay extra to the casino or something?

Guess we could just ask for an extra key card when we check in and give it to our third friend?
