Mandalay Bay is the best discount option there. Seriously, it isn't that expensive.

Was that so stupid of a question?? It seems unusual that they would send out 3 night free room offers to anyone who signed up on their website, and still no one has said that was how they got the offers.

A friend's mother was given free room offers in the mail from Downtown Grand when they opened, but she didn't know how she got on their list.

If you have a car the la quinta inn on Tropicana and valley view usually is cheap and rooms are surprisingly nice. 10 min drive to Mandalay bay

I only remember it very vaguely, what is the name and location of the place that serves a ~ $100 wagyu/kobe soup? There was a chef who prepared the noodles by himself and a small crowd watching the whole ceremony.

it was inside a casino on the strip i think.

So they just got rid of the "Dealertainers" at The Quad. This makes me sad. Late night degenerate 3 Card with the Dealertainers had become a ritual for me and a couple buddies, and made legitimate friends with a few of the dealers. Obviously part of their rebranding to be a mid-class (or higher) joint, which just doesn't make any sense to me given the competition. But I'm no economist.
