What would be the best place to buy a few kitchen appliances and an iron on or near the strip? I don't have a car.

Would a drugstore carry that kind of stuff?

Thanks guys

what exactly do you mean by "kitchen appliances"?

There is a Walgreens on the strip that may sell an iron but I'm not sure.

Checking: Walgreens online website I see that they carry a number of small appliances, toaster, blender, hot plate, iron, etc. These may only be available by ordering online, but I am certain some (if not all) of these will be in the store. Walgreens is adjacent to the Venetian and across from
Treasure Island.

There is also Macy's in the fashion show mall (Just past Treasure island across from Wynn), which carries small kitchen appliances.

But... if you are staying long enough to have a need for appliances, take the bus or taxi to a Wal-mart or somewhere cheaper.

Ah yes Macys, nice one, thanks. They'll have everything I need.
Will also check Walgreens.

Thanks for the advice.

There's also a shuttle that leaves from Polo Towers and goes to Wal mart

Going to Vegas for the first time in August. If you had to choose between the Beatles LOVE cirque show and the Michael Jackson ONE, which is better?

We saw Michael Jackson IMMORTAL in Boston, but it wasn't that great...more dancing, and not much acrobatics, ect.

I had a couple people from our group walk over to Polo Towers and took a shuttle to Wal Mart. I've never done it personally, but walking over there and hopping on worked for them. This is all. Could find on the website, though:

thanks for all the advice so far! much appreciated!

one more question: anyone familiar with Siegal Suites? looking at one on 455 E. Twain Ave. again, how safe is the walk from there to the strip (Venetian)?

looks like the route would be to take Sands Ave that runs into Country Club Ln, and that goes to LVB right at Venetian. anyone know how safe that route is for walking?

thanks so much once again!

its a pretty bad area, but the walk down sands to the strip is relatively safe in the day time. The least safe part of the walk is the part closest to you (sands east of paradise).

IMO, if youre going to go siegal suites, the one on flamingo and palo verde is a better choice location wise.

thanks, Turyia. seems like you know your way around vegas pretty well. how about the Paradise Siegal Suites location? its a 45 min. walk down LVB to Venetian, the part closest to the Suites is a short hop on Sahara (right at Sahara/Paradize plaza). what about this route? thanks!

Keep in mind that Siegel Suites is basically one step up from homelessness.

Bach party at the Palms. Anyone know of a legit agency or strippers who do private shows for bach parties etc? We're going to Spearmint for Friday night but planned on doing something in my buddies suite for Sat night.

Did one of these in LA and had 3 girls come while two did a lesbian oil show while the other gave dances...was fun and chill...but Vegas seems to be 90% scams
