I can only assume these events are full. Morre events are closed every day.

If I were you, I'd preregister for any events you want to play in right now.
I believe I read you can only pre-register for over 2weeks in advance, that's why all the events for the next 14 days are 'closed' and all the later ones are not.

not sure what the answer is to the question though but pretty sure that's the reason you cant preregister for an event that starts in the next 14days.

edit, found the exact words in the 2nd paragraph:

. Pre-registration will remain open until two weeks prior to the start of a particular event.

thats a good deal however .. the unlimted call is from your HOME MARKET only.. and you are charged per minutes (pretty much liek roaming) for calls made outside your home market. Metropcs is different in that you still get unlimted calls in every city they have presence.

My turn...

So I'm staying @ the MGM Signature, which has a kitchen in the suite. I'd like to be able to prepare at least a few of my own meals. If I don't have a rental car, how would I get some basic groceries? If there some kind of delivery service I can use?

I don't know anything about your delivery options, but there's stuff within walking distance. The CVS across the street between CityCenter and the Monte Carlo definitely sells food and I'd be somewhat surprised if there's nothing closer than that... pretty sure there's a Walgreens or something on the East side of the street amongst the various stores there (although I don't know if Walgreens sells food because I'm not sure I've ever been inside one). Possibly other stuff too; never had much reason to pay attention.

First answer on Google. There are others as well, or you can just take a taxi and have him wait for you while you run in and get a few things.

Google works, fwiw.

Zam, yes but only on certain floors. Ask when you check in, they will put you on the floor that has the access.

I think I know the place. It may be a CVS too. They have food, but not a big variety and iirc it's all packaged. No fresh meat or fruit or vegetables, etc.

Safeway.com may deliver, but it may not be easily done in a hotel setup.

I think after 3 or 4 days most people in Vegas will realize what a pain it is to be without a car.

Yes, call the poker room and explain everything. The way the poker rate works is the room is reserved through the normal system, and the poker room adjusts it when you check out.

No, your best price is usually found online.

You can go to a Walmart and get a basic candy bar phone for like 20 or 30 bucks and a pre-paid minutes card for the same amount. If you're a chatty cathy you can get a 1000 minute card for a hundred bucks.

How is parking at the RIO during WSOP events. Is it possible or is there a best place nearby? Is it free?

Thanks

sigh,

regarding wiring money to Venetian

"Cash for a wire transfer is not to exceed 15% of the total amount of the wire."

I guess i'll be flying an obscene amount of cash down with me
