You should find out if he specializes in German first. I'm far from a snob but car people tell me that a great Honda mechanic isn't neccesarily a great Benz mechanic.

Ha, there is one in Santa Clara, CA.

Until it closed a couple years ago.

I am both happy I read this, and hate that I read this. Carrot Cake is amazing. Carrot Cake cupcake at the Cupcakery (known as the "Bugsy") is the best thing ever.

Thanks for the recommendation, I need some new brakes and will probably take my car here since Pep Boys sucked last time around.

Are you very handy? Brakes are probably one of the easiest "big" jobs you can do yourself. You save yourself some money and know the job is done right.

it's never just $99, because when you take it somewhere it's never just brake pads. I've saved thousands doing my own.

Even if it were just $99 (which its prob not) yes you can beat it, You cant get a set of break pads for $50 and by gosh thats all you need!

you are right... they add tax. (i have used them before and the place called "just brakes" did not try to replace my engine... maybe the company name is misleading but they just do brakes.. I can see why it's confusing)

Re: The locals thread

hey skanks, i ate at "hamada of japan" the other day and the sushi was VERY good. Not reasonably priced, but still quite goot. The steak teriyaki was decent, but the sushi was GREAT. Easily top 2 i've had in vegas thus far.

What's a good site for locals specials? (yes, i have google...)

Instead of sitting on your fatass posting 30 times a day on a forum maybe you could learn to do some things on your own, like well rotate you tires, change your brake pads, or hell maybe you could start with simply learning how to wipe your own ass.

hahahaha! Nah.. i'd rather just pay somebody $100 to change my brake pads (nice job not saying "break" this time ya doucher).

This goes along the same lines as me paying a maid to clean my place... Hardly relevant whether or not I can do it, it has to do with how much i think it's worth to pay someone else to do it. Turns out... I can afford it.

Stop trolling me, or I'll post more!

P.S. How'd you know i was fat? Good read...
