Yep, I posted about this above. Nevada ID is required, not just a DL. And it doesn't have to be a Henderson/LV/NLV id either.

When a place says locals with ID, they always mean Nevada ID in Las Vegas.

true. I don't know anywhere that requires a "las vegas" only ID. That'd be v weird.

so... anybody know of a decent bar by paradise and flamingo. I have a lady friend coming to stay with me for a minute and i'm trying to think of places close to my home (to minimize D'ing under the I); but would also like a place that isn't ghetto.

Ellis Island it sh*tty, right?

Firefly, which I guess is a restaurant not a bar, but they have some yummy drinks and some of the best food in the city.

Paradise Cantina (I think it's called) is decent and cheap.

Haufbrahous.

Yes it is, but you could have a good time there. They brew their own beer and serve it at the main bar.

I don't want you reporting my license plate...

I really like the spa at THEhotel and the Venetian Spa is amazing. The new one at Hard Rock, Reliquary, is really nice.

Oh, and I can't preach enough love for Mandarin Bar at Mandarin Oriental, on Monday's they have a complimentary cocktail or some sort of drink special and their food/snacks are decent. Great date spot IMO.

Rio is 1/2 price with any Nevada ID not even needing a picture. Tam cards and even student IDs for children work. 2 people per ID. A great deal available everyday, except Saturday and Sunday Brunch. I agree very hard to beat.

It's Monday-Thursday only, pretty sure it doesn't work on Fridays. Also, they raised the prices on most of the buffets, I think the listed price is 23.99 for dinner now, so $12 for locals Mon-Thur. Lunch might still be 16.99 (so still 8.50 for locals).

Is it issued by the state of Nevada? Yes? Good...No? Sorry. This isn't that hard of a question is it?

For those of you who don't have one, you can get a Nevada ID Card (not DL) from the DMV

Is this a serious question? Didn't I just say that any Nevada ID is good enough? You don't specifically need a Vegas DL.

WTF does the Orleans have to do with anything the poster above said? BTW, it's barely a 10 minute walk in a safe neighborhood to the Orleans.

Well, I'll carry my Property Tax certificate and if they don't like that I'll write a letter to Harry Reid....

A bit sensitive today?

I live on the corner of Jones and Reno so I should know.

If you do want to walk to the The Orleans after a few at the O'Aces enjoy....

Bwahahahahaha
