I've won and/or lost 2k at 1/3 in a single session multiple times. Way too short of a roll, and that goes double if you plan to being using some winnings for life expenses.

So mods, I cannot comment on any of the vlogs?

Tappan, watched the new vid while grinding . I think not saying your results actually makes way more sense. I think it could lead to pressure during downswings maybe. Also think it's cool that you brought up anxiety and depression, because I think it's something we all go through. Definitely in my case.

Your parents place looks cool as hell.

Very interesting and informative. Would not have put you on growing up without electricity or running water but I'm sure that has given you some perspective in life. Seems like a solid family upbringing as well. Keep up the great work with the videos!

If you lose 2k multiple times in a session of 1/3 you are doing something seriously wrong like tilting.

That's kinda what I was thinking, but even if the games were crazy deep that still seems excessive.

I think that was the source of Troopers meltdown. He had a lot of losing sessions in a short time and the stress of having to report that on his blog got to him, hence his mini meltdown and shunning of this thread. I think tappon has a good strategy to keep a level head for this. The pressure of reporting your results to a bunch of internet strangers can't be the easiest thing in the world to deal with, especially if you are a losing player like troop.

No offense to tappan because I do watch his videos, but OG has an audience that are crazy invested into his videos because he does things like posts results. It almost like we are sitting next to him all day in Vegas.

So many people have just never ran excessively bad.

I've lost 4 buyins in one orbit without tilting.

My favorite was when I had middle set vs top set two hands in a row, then a couple hands later had 2nd nut flush vs nut flush, then a couple hands later had nut flush vs boat.

I agree completely! Thoroughly enjoyed the final 3+ minutes where we got a glimpse of your life. Your family home looks absolutely gorgeous, although I couldn't imagine having to run out to an outhouse in the middle of the night during a Vermont winter!

I also couldn't imagine living in such a small town. I've mostly lived in major metropolitan areas (Miami, Miami Beach, D.C., LV), and my high school may have had close to as many students (2,500) as the entire population of the town to which you were bussed to attend high school.

Interesting (to me, at least) that we both had very different backgrounds, and we both ended up moving to Vegas to play poker (although I did it as a hobby/recreational activity, rather than as a "semi-pro.")

I thoroughly enjoy watching your vlog, just as I enjoy watching the vlogs of other Vegas poker players. I would never critique or criticize a vlogger for posting losing sessions, but I think that you are very wise not to include results in your vlogs. There are quite a few people here who would jump at the chance to slam you for not being as successful at poker as they think you should be. But you obviously already know that, and I'm sure that weighed into your decision.

But enough about that. In closing, let me just say that I wish you much success as both a vlogger and a poker player, and I hope that all that you aspire to, is the least that you achieve.

You got to realize that most on here are just a bunch of nits, so of course they would never lose more than a buy in or two before storming away from the table in disgust.

I think people got invested in OG because he has an interesting persona. For me, seeing him on other vloggers' footage destroyed that. His real self seems really introverted, and the character that he plays on screen is something he turns on or off at will.

The thing that keeps people watching currently is either the trainwreck, or their belief that he's going to shoot to YouTube stardom somehow.

Are we turning this back into a thread about Trooper?

Also, what you think is worth about the same as what CreamCrop thinks.

People with mental imbalances don't get asked for their opinions very much. I understand that's why you want to give it so freely on this forum.

When he says he's semi-pro, does that mean he has some alternate form of income? Or does he use the savings he got from working to partly fund himself. I assume the latter. Definitely a smart way to get your feet wet, and one I wish I would have done on my first go.

Past performance does not guarantee future results.

Also, regarding how the other sessions are been going

He said he does gigs on the side. So he makes money from that and he makes money from poker.
