To be fair, one doesn't have to be wealthy at all to have out-earned Trooper.

It's definitely not "normal" or "average" for sure. Then again, what universe is he living in that he thinks Trooper makes $40k/year lol. (certainly not this year and certainly not over his lifetime)

This is pretty clear.

That's a pretty big assumption. Trooper does the bare minimum to survive, which for a single guy is very very little. He keeps his expenses relatively low which means if he really did make that type of money over 25 years he wouldn't be driving that ****ty little car that doesn't even qualify for Uber and wouldn't have been living in a ****hole like Desert Manor. He came to Vegas with $2k to his name. No way has he been making much money at all in his lifetime.
I believe him when he said he made $90k one year dealing..or in true Trooper fashion perhaps he made $45k in 6 months and then took the other 6 months off. Regardless, that's just one year. What about all the years where he's made less than $20k trying to grind poker? I'd be shocked if he didn't have years where he ended up losing quite a bit of money playing poker for a living...like right after he wont the BBJ and started playing 2/5.

You really have to include things like the BBJ though. He may have run well to get them, but they are still earnings. Still, even if you include that your number is probably correct.
