I love how he now says he came to Vegas "to build something" which is a pretty ambiguous catch all that covers pretty much any path he might take. Everytime he shifts his focus he changes the reason he came to Vegas. He initially came to Vegas to become a professional poker player. He failed at that but then had success in vlogging so he changed his reason for coming to Vegas to play poker and make videos. Now that he has a t-shirt shop his reason for coming to Vegas was to build something. There is nothing wrong with taking different paths but to act like it was all preplanned is so lol. If Trooper got a gig as an entertainer, he would say he came to Vegas to entertain people.

I would sell the t-shirts. I wouldn't quit playing poker though and I certainly wouldn't cut back on daily vlogs.

Trooper used to not do this but I do think it is smart for him to do. That being said, a 2 day break should suffice. He is taking a much bigger break than that.

I concur.

He was up a decent amount, no? So if he is making his monthly nut from youtube + patreon + t-shirts + other donations and only using his poker bankroll for poker stuff then I can see him being in the ballpark of $10k. But that is a lot of assumptions...and I have a feeling he isn't separating life funds from poker funds and is spending more on his monthly nut than he's making from youtube, etc.
In 2016 he was only up a decent amount from dealing poker, certainly not from playing it. You telling me that with a $10k roll he isn't playing some 2/5? Dude seems scared to play 1/2 right now.

The majority of the year was part of his $8k+ downswing over 15 months. He finished the year strong. Keep in mind he had next to no YouTube revenue back then.

What was Phil Ivey doing when he was 44 years old though?
