Boski's latest vlog was a comedy

Has 1010 a guy 4 bet shoves and he puts him in ak,aq or JJ (lol donkaments) he calls and loses to AK
Shoves KJ into KQ
Shoves KQ into AA

He reminds me of the guys in 2003 who would shove with hands that if called clearly are dominated. I know you "can't just sit and wait for aces" but open shoving KJ is a long way from that.

I played at the table next to him that night and I think thats exactly how I described - IMO - how he looked/acted.

^^This exactly.

Trooper cutting back on poker and focusing on his "shop" is an example of him focusing on the shiniest object in front of him. There is no thought of long-term strategy (just like his poker game). Watch him loose interest in his shop in the next few months....then move on to the next shiny object.

If Trooper is playing in the pits would it be unreasonable for him to have run his bankroll up over $10k? Absolutely not.

Trooper came from a gambling background and then transitioned to poker. I dont' recall what all he played off the top of my head but I believe he played mostly roulette, video poker, and black jack.
Lol. He can barely win at 1/2, so let's stake him in pit games. Seems like a good investment.

Not a troll, but does it always have to be some grand conspiracy theory? Can't he just want to make some money?

The problem with trooper's T-Shirt business is after his initial rush of orders from his bigger fans, its bound to plateau and slowly fizzle out. I doubt Trooper has thought all that much about it, and maybe thinks its sustainable. I give him credit for going through with it though. Im sure its helped him as he goes through this big downswing. I just wonder how well it will be doing in a year, when everyone has already bought their shirts or hats or whatever. Time will tell.

For sure, but you would still sell them even knowing all of that

Yep, for sure. I dont blame him at all for doing this. I just hope hes not thinking this is going to turn into some huge brand. His pushing or selling of his product is a bit tilting in his vlogs now, but Trooper is trying to hustle, so I get it.

Trooper is a bit like a cockroach, hes a survivor, as Vegas seemingly should have eaten him up and swallowed him whole a long time ago.

Agreed, I don't know how he is hanging on but he is.. When he said he over 10k in his bankroll I was floored and say what you want about him he tells the truth about his finances. Even when he is broke like he has admitted three times in this vlog since he started it.

So you think he has a 10k+ bankroll but he's taking days off from poker all of a sudden? No shot

I often take a break when I have multiple 3 buy in losses in a row, don't you?

I think his 10k+ bankroll comment was more of a put on the spot/pride thing. He gets very defensive during these Live Streams that he does, and lets the chat get to him way more than he should. I just dont think he wanted to admit where hes at financially because he knew how the chat would react.

I could be wrong, but it doesnt take that much common sense to realize that Trooper is in a tough spot currently.

He put this up on his twitter yesterday:

Quote:
Before I sleep again, even a wink, I will have 50 Go Gamble state shirt designs
Seems like a lot of effort from him to make money if he really has over $10k. I'm just guessing but I think he is broke and just doesn't want to admit it anymore because he has been more defensive than usual recently. The last time he went broke he was still posting on 2+2 so he wasn't as annoyed at his haters as he is today.

Edit: He also got responses from people saying they would buy the shirts so this idea could give him a decent amount of money.

So you think he has accurately recorded his results for three years and has made multiple vlogs about how he was broke and had to go back and get a job and now he is finally lying even though he has made no mention of a job or being broke now?

So get 10k in your bank account and just quit working.

You guys really really think these things I guess

Yep. Until he was actually broke and needed help/backing/staking... Did he ever mention being near busto beforehand? Its not something I would think anyone would admit to.

That's what he did when he won the bbj.

In this case though, he would still get income from the vlog, website and Patreon and the vlog has become his job so he wouldn't completely stop working. And I think he still believes he can easily beat 1-2 NL. So all this effort he is putting into those new shirts make no sense IMO unless his bankroll is much lower than he said it is.

It's possible he has a bankroll in the neighborhood of $10k. Even after the recent downswing he's still in the black for 2017 by about $5-6k. What was his result for 2016? He was up a decent amount, no? So if he is making his monthly nut from youtube + patreon + t-shirts + other donations and only using his poker bankroll for poker stuff then I can see him being in the ballpark of $10k. But that is a lot of assumptions...and I have a feeling he isn't separating life funds from poker funds and is spending more on his monthly nut than he's making from youtube, etc.

He never mentions what his bankroll is anymore, never shows his overall results anymore and constantly ignores questions in the Youtube comment section about those topics. He actually is pretty secretive about stuff which is kind of annoying but it is his personal choice and he would probably say it's none of our business. He used to be open about those topics.

Also this was during a live stream. I think in the heat of the moment, he said something that he wouldn't have said in one of his normal videos. Or maybe he assumes his latest idea with his shirts will get him to over $10k so in his mind it isn't lying.

I think he lost money playing poker in 2016. Using the info he gave us, he barely came out ahead. He was down several thousand and then his big heater started in the last couple of months and he barely came out ahead. But he purposely avoided telling people the result of one of his sessions around late October I believe, and I always suspected he lost really big in that session. People in the comments section kept saying he forgot to mention the session results and he ignored those comments.

Edit: One reason people speculate so much about his bankroll is he never tells us what it is. So if he goes on a bad run, seems to be in a bad mood for a while and suddenly stops playing, then people get suspicious. But we'll see how much poker he plays in the next week.
