Enjoying the vlogs. Next time I'll say hello.
Sounds good!

I guess I got lucky with Caesars games, we found soft enough ones every evening. Oh but I was running as hot as the big bang, that'll make 'em easier.

I got aces 3 times inside of 2 orbits, and they held up every time — twice for stacks.

Pretty sure Trooper's Veloster costs more than Whey's 10-year-old Bimmer.

Isn't a big part of that simply due to the cost of ownership? I don't remember Whey's car, just a guess. Trooper doesn't own his vehicle. Does whey?

Whey's ride is an E60 (2004-2010) BMW 5-series, looks like a lower-end 528 model.

KBB is around $7K. Just pointing out whoever said that was ballin' compared to the Troopmobile (sticker $18K) is wrong.

Why are you comparing KBB to sticker price? I can find 2016 Hyundai Velosters listed for under $13k.

Also, the sales price is just one factor in how baller a vehicle is. I can buy a used Porsche or a used V12 Mercedes for less than a new Hyundai Veloster. Does that make them less baller than the Hyundai? Absolutely not. They are way more baller. Someone like Trooper can't afford those vehicles because of the cost of maintenance.

Whatever, that's your opinion.

I'm just saying whoever said Whey's car was ballin' compared to Troop's is not right. And that's MY opinion.

Read it in the context of my reply to this:

.... and sticker price is one thing... monthly payments are another.

I imagine Trooper's monthly lease cost is pretty low.

I think there should be a Vegas vlogger-only tournament. We'd get the hole cards of every player (eventually)!

Nice, I may actually watch this one then. It will be interesting to see how his experience differed from troops.

I said it and it's not that hard to find. It was in reply to someone saying how awesome his (Trooper's) expensive, yet furniture-less apartment and (now) nearly 2 year old model of a 3 door car was a baller lifestyle people should be envious of having. My response was lets curb our enthusiasm - meaning, nothing against Trooper or what he has (I'm personally proud of him for moving himself out of DM - the car I could careless about) but to point out he still has work to do and that most people wouldn't be resting on what he has and calling it "baller". They would say they are working in the right direction, they are moving forward and upward, but they wouldn't be calling it baller. FWIW I think that this is close to Trooper's mindset, he's moving onward and upward and trying to not be settled and satisfied in his current position.

As for Whey's car you spent more time looking up the potential model of his ride and it's KBB value than anyone cares about. So good for you, you pointed out a '15 Volester could cost you more to purchase today than Whey's BMW - but when Ryan pulls up to the valet, I promise you she's happier/more comfortable getting out of his BMW than she would be getting out of a 3 door Volester and nearly zero woman would care about the current sticker price on the two or what the monthly payments may/may not be.

So as far as "baller" or what a single female would rather be seen in with a date:

Whey's Car > Troopmobile

There have been some idiotic arguments in this (and the former) thread from time to time, but this one ranks pretty close to the top. Who the **** cares what the valet thinks of one's car? In fact, IDGAF about what anyone thinks of the cars I drive. I bought them for my own enjoyment, not to impress anyone else. I'm sure that Whey & Trooper bought there's for the same reason.

And on a related issue, who gives a **** if Whey's Car > Troopmobile or if Whey's Car < Troopmobile.

JFC, it's time to grow up people.

Not sure where you're coming up with that. In fact, in Wednesday's episode of his new show with Chicago Joey called Table Talk, they did a section on "YouTube Poker" where both of them were talking about how great it is that all these vloggers and other people producing new content for YouTube over the past year has been, and will continue to be, great for poker. Of course, there was a little self-promotion involved in the segment as well, but Doug was very complimentary of the vloggers.

I watched that episode and I got the opposite reaction from them. They liked YouTube poker videos but seemed to roll their eyes at poker vloggers. I could be completely wrong tho but that's what I got from it.
