When Trooper and Neeme and others are filming themselves as they walk, are they using a selfie stick or some kind of holder for the camera? Or are they just holding it with their hands? How do they know they're getting a good angle when they shoot? These walking shots always seem to be relatively well compositioned and I was wondering what they're doing to achieve that.

I used to be a big fan of Dnegs Volgs but they are almost becoming unbearable to watch with all this feel good **** and cringy viewer videos. Same reason I can't watch these prime time game shows because now every contestant needs to have some type of feel good story or life tragedy behind them. I just want to watch a ****en game show, is that so much to ask???

They're holding the camera with their outstretched arm/hand. Most vloggers use cameras with flip-up LCDs that let them see themselves to compose the shot.

I was thinking of starting vlogging but with an iPhone so I'm not sure how the shot composition would work. I feel like I would just have to practice a bunch to make sure I get a good shot when walking and vlogging.

So Trooper is at the Rio but decides to go to the Nugget to play and doesn't even get any wsop footage for the current vlog. Bummer....

Trooper hates the WSOP.

He would rather donate at the Nugget than be seen with real poker players.

Every summer it's the same story.

People must love seeing Trooper join there table.

Did he not go to the WSOP at all the last 2 years? It is odd that the poker event of the year is going on and he is completely ignoring it. If you only learned about Vegas and poker from his vlog, you wouldn't even know the WSOP existed.

Two years ago he played the Colossus. I think that is it. I don't think he was allowed to play in most of the events last year because he was a Caesars employee although he could play in some SNGs but didn't, to my recollection.

Trooper hasn't won enough money at poker in his lifetime to fling chips into the pot like an assh0le.

I think a Trooper playing online satellites would make for a good vlog. Especially if it starts getting all wacky like the live stream with the pushups and gay slurs.

True. BTW you stole your location quote from Trooperware.

That fact he plays poker is not relevant since there are no hand histories.

It would be more interesting if he lost his money at craps.
He complained about getting unlcucky in a hand he played so that's a start. Also lol at him saying how unlucky he is with top two. He also mentioned losing with kings 3 times.

This is a reason why it was annoying when he rejected the free coaching. It's one thing that he didn't want it, but he did so much complaining when he lost, acted like he was somehow awesome and deserved to win, and was full of excuses. If he doesn't want to put in enough of an effort to beat the lowest stakes, then he needs to stop whining because he deserves the terrible results he gets. He doesn't run worse than every other player in Vegas.

In person when I was sitting across from him (around a year ago) he really gave off an arrogant vibe. It seemed like every time he would fold he had to remind the table how awesome he was when he was doing it. And he wasn't saying a word and didn't try to be friendly at all.

He does it to show the table that he should be playing higher stakes. Holds those stakes in disdain and contempt. And if it wasn't for this run of bad luck / variance then he would be crushing.

I would love to know if he helicoptered his cards into the muck playing 5/10. (where he believes he belongs and above, skill wise)

Did he helicopter his cards at Excalibur? Seems really silly to do that there against tourists that buy in for as little as $60. Some people play in rooms like that to avoid regulars that look down on tourists.

It has become really hard to watch Trooper the past few months. Watching a man settle into old ways and bad habits as he gets older and vlogging it is becoming cringeworthy. Tim is seriously one terrible haircut away from being full fledged Kim Jong-un with his isolationism and paranoia and his entire life is becoming a bad beat story.

I think the vast majority of vloggers start off on their phones and only later move on to more expensive, higher quality equipment as they get more serious about vlogging. Composing a shot on your iPhone is super easy because it's got tons of "selfie" features. The problem with shooting on your iPhone won't be about composing shots or video quality. The problem will be sound quality. Camera phones just don't have anywhere near the audio quality of a decent DSLR.

As you get started, the thing that will take the vast amount of your time will be learning the editing software.

If you have any questions as you get started, feel free to reach out to me. Happy to help any way I can.
