Paying $20 a day or whatever for parking is going to take a big bite out of low stakes grinders' rolls.
Article was written in April and the rake was increased in the last month so that makes sense.

He did play the 75 hours he needed for free parking. Not sure how long he gets to keep that.

If he made Platinum this year then he is good until February 2019.

He cares so much about image that he probably would tilt if a player makes comments like "Trooper is waiting for the nuts" and "When Trooper bets he always has it."

Against a huge calling station he thinks he needs to build the pot up to make sure he gets a call if he hits his draw.

That's about every 1/2 or 1-3 game in Vegas I sit for more than an hour so why pick on Trooper?

I was one. I've watched him here and there since I heard him on limon's show maybe 2 years ago. I subbed a couple months ago. It's become a toxic mess. Not entertaining and the few poker hands he mentions are played frustratingly horrible. Other than the train wreck factor there's not much reason to watch and that just feels bad for the soul to me.

Latest Polk vid hysterical btw.

I was one of Trooper first 500 subscribers....but outside of the train wreck effect I am not sure there is much value in his vlogs. I'm from Iowa and love Vegas, so I enjoyed the different intros and scenes from around Vegas, but he isn't putting the effort into that aspect anymore.

I give him props for being one of the first and giving us Neeme, Owen, etc., but his value to me is waning, and I have been a supporter and defender on here of his, so can only imagine what others are feeling.

I'm still a sub. Go get em Troop!

Anyone notice that Troop's t-shirt in intro rant different from the poker session t-shirt. He must of seen PK's vlog today.

I cant fault Troop for not playing in the vloggers game as he'd get absolutely destroyed and probably feel humiliated even if they were respectful of him while doing it. Guys like Neeme probably have 100k in the bank and can play small stakes with ease. Troop would be under way too much pressure to impress, not to mention he wouldnt want them analyzing his hands in public.

"Train Wreck Effect" should be Troopers next T-shirt.

This guy is unstable.

Vlog game shoulda been 1/1 with some straddles. Not defending Trooper blowing it off and claiming no invite, but the game should be as small and fun as possible. I'd like to see Polk and Negreanu show up and request it to be a 25/50 game and see how much Neeme and Owen squirm out of it. That would be humorous to me.

Concerning this pot building.

I know that a lot of people do it, Andrew Neeme and Brad Owen come to mind, and it must be the GTO way of doing things.

But let's just hypothesize you've been running bad lately, maybe running bad for 3 years or so, and you don't have an unlimited bankroll, wouldn't you want to keep the pot small until you've hit your draw ? Especially against a calling station that you can't bluff when your draw doesn't come in ?

I don't want to turn this into a poker strategy thing, because after all this is a "lifestyle" vlog, not a poker vlog.

I could write a wall of text about Trooper's poker game.
I try not to start because where do you begin knowing there is no end to the criticism you can heap upon it.

I just wish Trooper would go lose his money somewhere else besides Bally's and the Golden Nugget. I think that would make his vlog more interesting for the viewer, (me).

Yeah woot. Vs a calling station, hands will do to showdown most of the time. Not sure what's the point of bloating the pot before your hand is made.

Trooper was doing a flashback thing.

Most assuredly.
Trooper's intro rant was PokerKraut inspired, that's for sure.

For a husky guy, Trooper is thin skinned.
He needs to lighten up, laugh at a good joke when you see it.

PokerKraut's t-shirt "I wasn't invited" was great.

Thinking about it still cracks me up

I've never been to turning stone but I am from California and I think they made it 5/5 because the drop in California is so high. In LA it's 6 + 1 so maybe that is why it's 5/5? Not sure.

Is there something wrong with your camera because that dude's head looked oversized in the video. If it's not a camera issue then I'm not sure why you didn't ask about that and also why didn't you ask him: "Do you even lift, bro?"

Just as I ignore one thing, then there's a huge disappointment that's kinda hard to ignore. I've never pissed on other vloggers, especially one's who were supposed to be my friend. Such is life I suppose. I'm over it
Friend how? Did they ever hang out (outside of eating lunch together during poker sessions a few times)

They broadcast 1/3 on their stream. Actually, the 1/3 game plays quite big IIRC.

(fyi turning stone casino is in NY).

I don't think there's any casino in the US that lets you withdraw comps as cash. Certainly not in Vegas or AC. Maybe in some small market spot. If they did you'd be daft to do anything else

There are. For example the 2 laberge du lac casinos in Louisiana allow you to redeem comp for cash. However, cash is 25cents on the dollar do you are losing a lot of comp value if you're someone who uses comps at their properties.

What is Trooper's combined monthly income from YouTube, Patreon, Trooperware, and Mailtime?

$2,500 per month, or so?

Enough to cover his entire nut, not including poker losses.

His current bankroll is at about 4 to 5k..

It was terrible. Also lol @ doing that whole trust no one intro because Kraut wore a "I wasn't invited" tshirt. This is one fragile snowflake. How does he handle the YT comments? Oh, that's right... Very poorly.
