So Trooper making like 900-1000/month the last 6-7 months from YouTube approximately. (Edit: probably closer to 750-100). That + Pateron and whatever people send him in the mail pays the rent and probably utilities too.

Since he moved in in like August those two methods have been paying the rent at the current apartment basically the whole time. But the monthly views have been going down slowly but steady in 2017 so unless he ups the content and gets a steady bump in views that income is likely to trickle downward over the summer and through the end of the lease. We'll see if he stays at his current spot beyond august/September.

Wait so Trooper has money invested in the t-shirt gig? I thought all you do is send a JPEG to the company, they print a bunch of cheapass shirts, and you get a $5 or so royalty for each sale?

And why is half of his latest vlog talking about youtube comments and trolls? Live your life and talk about poker, Vegas, etc. and not boring youtube drama.

His first couple months at his new apartment he likely paid with dealer money. After that he had run good in the vlog game and run good at the poker tables and had some side gigs (ie got paid to go to Aruba).

As I see it right now he doesn't have any side gigs in the pipeline. The vlog game should cover his rent but not his other expenses. He does have the shirt thing but do we really expect that to generate much money? It looks like it's mostly going to come down to poker. Trooper is going to have to grind out a living. If he makes it to the 2018 WSOP without going broke I'll be super impressed. I totally expect him to go broke in the next 6 months if his vlog doesn't pick up or he doesn't create some other revenue stream outside of what he currently has.

He wanted nothing in return, had no apparent agenda other then wanting to help me. A real solid guy Imo.
Squid, I hope all well with you.

His reaction to the Molly questions is typical. It was never a real relationship. Go watch the vlogs. Body language was terrible. Not to mention women like her don't date broke high school students. They need a man that can support them and kids.

Always those odd questions right? Just doesnt seem to make sense amirite?

Why do you think people constantly wonder:

1) If this is a Vegas Vlog, why is it that only one dude is talked about (by the exact same peeps errday) when there is like 10 other vegas dudes vlogging?

2) Was the stake through PA ever payed back in full?

3) Why doesnt this dude have furniture?

4) How did this dude pull a chick like that?

5) If dude is so popular with 10s of thousands of subscribers & 10s of thousands of daily vid views, why is it always only the same 10-15 fanboys & fake haters are talking about him in this thread ever? Shouldnt there be a healthy mix of at least 50 or so regulars chatting constantly in this thread from the 10s of thousands of subscribers? The same 10-15 peeps seem to have been the only ones actually keeping this thread active for yeeeeeeers. Almost like its...ummm...derrrr... dare i say, scripted

Among plenty of other wonderments

Thread views baby, thread views. Its what pays the bills.

Because that is the business model... "bad publicity(drama) is good publicity". Dude has to keep coming up with gimmicks (literally) and continually think of some sleezy angle (kinda like the ones that conz suggests constantly... gee cool coincidence) to sustain a buzz over his channel because he knows he has no talent/creativity/real personality to make it happen legit like... Hence the monkey push for volume over quality wrt to video production.

Also mentioned back thread is the fact that he's already reached the " just squeeking out a living" level of success in the building of a yoootooobz channel... I am inclined to believe that this was his plan from the jump. It is IMHO that he never really had the intension of making this lazy long con an actual vlog of good content for "fans" but rather to generate a relatively easy & steady income for himself without having to do any real physical labor. A slick easy gig so he can get by lazying around. Its all about generating money, not generating entertaining content, regardless what he says about him not wanting his "fans" sending him money. Remember the "tournament for the fans", howd that go? How bout the stake? Etc etc.

There were multiple indicators of a hustle/con early on in this LonelyGirl15 remake IMHO. I tried to warn but was labeled a hater and have had a good sample of my posts deleted that were attempting to expose this cat and his (literal) teams' bs...

Agreed. He was friendzoned from the start.
Has anyone else noticed that Trooper keeps playing with his chest? He is getting so fat -- he has *****-tits and a noticeable double chin. He needs to hit the gym. STAT!

So this morning I watched Troop and it put me in a foul mood and then I watched Kraut and it restored my faith in humanity.

Troop rants about youtube trolls - Kraut talks about hanging at the pool with wife and friends
Troop admits Molly broke up with him - Kraut takes wife to Celine and dinner
Troop threatens violence - Kraut goes to see his friend at a final table
Troop loses at poker - Kraut wins at poker (and life)

You could see the Boss was fighting back tears when she realized she was going to Celine. Sweet man doing something really nice for his wife.

I don't think I can watch Trooper any more. I've found that if you surround yourself with negative people who do nothing but complain all the time it'll make you into a negative person. I think I'll stick to watching the vlogs that don't go on crazy 15 minute rants all the time.

I think you are right. I'm going to stop as well. That was a great vlog from Kraut. He really caught the Boss with that surprise. They seem like a nice couple.

Squid is deservedly a legend in LVL, and what his posts here exemplify is the difference between trolling and criticism.

He never talks about what Molly is or isn't, for example

But I'm sure he'd love to give Tim a speech about the subtle connection between fitness and diet, and poker results.

Squid is only about halfway to earning his OMC badge but has already figured out that, though the play of hands is often debatable, the importance of health and lifestyle balance isn't.

Maybe he's surprisingly good in bed, so she kept him around for a while.

EDIT: Admitting he is single is a signal to Youtube groupies that he is open for business if anyone wants to hook up.

Thanks for the kind words brotha, I really appreciate them. I have said it a ton - and I will repeat it. I have been exceptionally lucky with gamboolin in terms of the friendships I forged early on in my career. Without certain people in my life (they know exactly who they are (Goose, YRC, and MET) to name a few I would not have the life I have. I am a big fan of paying it foreword for lack of a better phrase.

Things are great on my end...hope all is well with you

I like to think that I am a young gun - but sadly I officially have had OMC status for over a year now since I can play in the seniors events

And you are correct regarding balance/fitness/health/lifestyle - would love to give him a pep talk regarding that.

also thanks for the kind words...I have to be in LV prior to november - would love to buy you a cup of coffee and we can talk about the "good ol days" ...that or breakfast at bouchon - I still have an ass load of comps burning a hole in my pocket

The latest Trooper video was lame as heck. I was hoping he would address some stuff in his rant but it was more of his empty words and nonsense.

He said people have no idea about his health and fitness because they only see 3 of his meals over an entire week. So tell us what your other meals were! Or put a salad or something in the vlog. He doesn't defend his dumb actions, he simply tells people that they don't know him. (Typical teenager illogical nonsense.)

He finally ADMITS that Molly dumped his lame butt but that is all he says. He even doesn't admit to being dumped but says they aren't currently* dating implying that he has a shot at getting back together with her. LOL! Maybe if he binks a $1 million tournament but then we would all know what would be going on.

Everyone wants to know what happened and when she dumped him (before, during, or after the trip) but no details provided. He even says that it's no anyone's business but guess what idiot...when you make a show of your lame life, people will obviously ask! When you put her in your vlog and brag about your girlfriend and call it a major life change and then she disappears, people will ask and they have a RIGHT to ask. It's like the Kardashians making a TV show and then flipping out why people are up in their business. Idiot!

Trooper releases a video that is 2 minutes of him going to get bad food (Panda Express in a casino food court), 2-3 minutes of walking to and from a poker game, no hand histories or real poker discussion, booking a loss (surprise, surprise), insulting poker dealers like a fish, and then 12 minutes crying into the camera like a teenage girl writing a diary entry of her boyfriend broke up with her. And then he threatens to beat everyone up like a knight in shining armor to protect his ex-friend. That was a platonic realationship from day 1.

The threats to beat people up who say something about Molly are just as empty as the comments on YouTube and here about him. No one is going to fight you and you only say those things because you know that no one will actually attack you so it's empty words trying to appear tough without having to actually do anything. Your prior actions in your own vlog show how much of a little coward you are with a big mouth and nothing to back it up.

Chris Ferguson stole millions of dollars from the poker community and walks around freely among all these players safely. If he can do that, no one is gonna come to you because of your empty threats.

Yeah its obviously not our business but at the same time imagine how much more interesting that vlog would be if he was like listen she wanted me to change my lifestyle and thats not something I could do so she left or something like that.

If you are doing a life daily vlog then you have to expose some things you aren't proud of. I think he needs to get a day job for awhile and gain some confidence back as its clearly affecting his play.

Quick summary of that last Trooper vid:

1. Man records his life and publishes it on the internet in an effort to increase income.
2. Man complains viewers ask questions about his life.
3. 2+2=5

Good vid. Cheers for posting.

I've not stayed on the strip since my legs went wonky back in 2011, but have 10 days at Cosmo tacked onto the end of my summer trip, and looking forward to seeing how much it has changed.

Next week trooper will claim that it isn't a vlog but a documentary.

The following week he will claim that he's not even recording and that someone is following him around with the camera.
